Russia: stops hitting energy infrastructure, but can cheerfully keep hitting hospitals and apartment buildings, as well as attacking on the ground.

Ukraine: Can't hit oil refineries, can't train any more troops or accept weapons or intel.

Trump has to be the worst negotiator in history.

It's total bullshit.

Putin threw him a bone, he wants that territory, that land, and this preserves infrastructure and resources in it, etc. Basic self-interest.

What about killing civilians? What about returning 20,000 children? POTUS just sucking Putin **** again.

And Zelensky still has to agree. I hope he doesnt.

It would leave a million more Ukrainian's vulnerable to Putin's murderers and put Ukraine in a very bad position when Putin attacks again. Ukraine will never surrender land that the Russians have failed to capture.

In a real negotiation both sides make concessions. These are not real negotiations at all and that is obvious. Winter is nearly over and Putin has already destroyed much of their energy infrastructure. Putin has plenty more oil refineries for Ukraine to hit. Zelensky agreed to a total ceasefire for 30 days and Putin has rejected it. That is the news of the day. Putin does not want peace and will only agree to things that help him destroy Ukraine.

He seems to be totally okay with the invading neighbor, for reasons which do not concern you or me.

Seems very consistent with nearly all Trump promises. Make promise, fakes delivery, tells the world how wonderful he is, makes up more excuses for his failure by blaming others. Rinse and repeat. Welcome to a Trump presidency.
