Wallace did not give him the Proud Boys. You are mistaken. Wallace wanted him to condemn white supremacists and rightwing militia. Biden mentioned the Proud Boys, and Trump ran with that without fully addressing Wallace or white supremacists and rightwing militia.

Why condemn the proud boys? I have actually read their self describe beliefs and the only one I disagree with is that they argue for a closed border, and I do not argue for zero immigration and a close border but that’s merely a political disagreement it’s nothing reprehensible.
The entire purpose of the question is an outrage. Donald Trump has condemned white supremacists dozens of times, he condemned white supremacists in 2016 to Chris Wallace. So going along with this question when it is merely a deflection from Joe Biden not condemning domestic terrorism is not something Trump should do. Whatever white supremacists there are out there, they literally mean nothing to every American. It is the far left carrying out domestic terrorism. The idea that there is some white nationalist out there somewhere is not offensive to me in anyway. The destruction of the country is the actual concern and that is by the left
