Anybody can be a doomsayer. It's a lot harder to come up with plans that are realistic and functional. Palin was the single biggest factor in McCains loss to Obama, despite his war heroism and moderate stances on many issues. All she stands for is negativity.

...by no means taking away from the tone of your comment because I agree with what you are saying, but just for the record, Sarah Palin said Russia could be seen from Alaska (which is true), it was Tina Fey that twisted that comment.

It has nothing to do with dream girls. The op was about the fact that she was right about Obama's ability to create jobs and get our economy going. You don't have to be a rocket scientist to see that his promises were pretty empty, and that his "investment" in green energy was just another worthless investment that the American taxpayer has to pay for.

Well we have had job creation. And there is no way of telling how many jobs the stimulus and bailouts did save.

This is the guy the republican's boo'd for telling the truth during the primaries. I was so hoping he would run. I think he was the only GOP candidate that could have added moderates, independants and swing voters to the republican ticket. I would have been very happy to vote for him.

I think the reason many latch on to that video is he gives it straight with not much rhetoric and says it clearly without much room for misunderstanding, unlike 99.99999% of the media.

The problem with the party he has hitched his wagon to is that they are a proud bunch. They do not like their candidates telling them truths they do not want to hear. They prefer, well, you know.....

Anyways, Ron Paul is too good for either party IMO.

What?! Lol. I'd love to see footage of one politician saying these things. Not one of the predictions, all of them. That's what is eerie about this. He predicted over 10 years of the future. Sure, some of it was easy to see coming but stuff like predicting "war crimes" against Bush, the massive growth of the Federal gov't, and the economic fall (which was nowhere near happening in 2002) are not easy predictions to make.
And who is this us? Who are you? You joined this forum in July 2012 so where were you making these predictions? Sitting in the living room with your family or something?

can't agree with this
until her selection as running mate, mccain literally could not attract a crowd in a grocery store
no one was interested in him. he was uninspiring
but once caribou barnie was tagged, the campaign took on new life, and was for a time leading in the polls
then the economy crashed and when mics were pushed in front of him for comment, mccain insisted the fundamentals of our economy were sound
that is when the public left his ticket in droves
sarah was a net asset. mccain was the liability
