New Reuters poll: Trump back in striking distance

Re: Reuters poll: Trump back in striking distance

Contrast "Progressive Liberal Socialism", whatever the hell that is, with neoliberalism.

----

And whatever you might want in government Ted Cruz is not only not the answer, he's not electable to a national office.

I believe within the next decade there will be an election with a clear choice between a candidate comparable to Bernie Sanders against a candidate comparable to Ted Cruz. I don't know which the electorate to will choose, but the choice will be between a socialist nation and a free nation. I understand that US society is becoming one that doesn't value liberty. One can always hope and try, however.

Lots of people are ready to buy "ISM" for our nation.

Of course not, but it helps to know what Progressive Liberal Socialism is. On that note, T-Rump doesn't have a clue. The best hope is for Ted Cruz to reassemble the GOP after being burned down by Trumpism.

I voted for Cruz in the primary here in SC, however the reality is that Trump is the nominee plain and simple, and the quicker that candidates learn to work with him to moderate his message, and get united against the criminal Hillary the better....That is just the world we live in today.

If you want to follow Trump off of the cliff that's OK with me.

Just don't say that you weren't warned.

Trumps chances are somewhere between slim and none.

Sorry, but your predictions to date have been dismal....So, I'll still wait.

As August progresses we will see if HRC maintains a 6 or 8 pt lead??
If HRC does, and Trump manages to stay on script, no upward move in the polls, well it will get worse as I think more Republicans (House-Senate) start walking - placing substantial distance from him.

Watched Trump when he endorsed, Ryan, McCain and Ayotte. He seemed stiff and somewhat uncomfortable. His reading from script perhaps undermined his fly by the cuff remarks. He may have to work on that.

The crowd, perhaps it was due to being Wisconsin, and Cruz walloped Trump there did not appear to enthusiastic.
From what I recall the campaigns really take off after Labor Day??? Is that correct?

Quoted for truth.
A truth that many seem to be intent on ignoring
.

No matter how much the right tries to ignore it they won't be able to change the fact that Trump got his butt handed to him after it happens.

Wait and see.

Trump is NOT a creature of the right. Trump is a populist "strongman". If you want to study an elected official on the right, look at Cruz or Rubio. Other US Senators on the REAL right include Ben Sasse and Mike Lee.

None of those losers are running for president and I have zero interest in them.

Re: Reuters poll: Trump back in striking distance

So, do you believe that "Progressive Liberal Socialism in America" is irreversible?

Unless someone invents a time machine it is. Progress is as irreversible as time.

Too bad they are joined at the hip with Trump. There is no running away from it, Trump is the "new" wave of Conservatism and the old one is dead.

You mean there's no antidote for "ISM"? Several nations have pulled themselves out of the Socialist hole. The USA can accomplish the same. Take Chile for example, it took drastic measures from Agosto Pinochet, but that country was rescued from Castroism and it's puppet government under Allende.

You're the one with the honesty problem.Trump is the GOP's candidate and he'll drag the GOP down with him in November.

Deal with it.

Re: Reuters poll: Trump back in striking distance

America is not a communist or purely socialist country and never will be so that is not applicable. All modern nations have a mix of capitalism and socialism and that is what will always be true. It is telling that you point to a dictatorship as a savior though. What is with the fascination with authoritarianism by so many conservatives? Do you think we would be better off under a dictator?

Of course not, but once the electoral system is shut down or rigged by the socialists, the exit via the electoral process is no longer open. Notice that today Chile has a representative government.

Clinton's lead over Trump narrows to less than three points: Reuters/Ipsos poll | Reuters

The DNC was her last chance to shake Trump lose. If he gets any bounce after the debates she is in big trouble.

She "IS" in big trouble.

1. She's a liar extraordinaire, and people know it.

2. She's irritating to listen to. (Not a quality to measure a leader, but she is nauseating with her screeeeech.)

3. She's not exciting anyone on her side. Look at her book signing tour, and her so-called "rallies". Compare them with Trump. Day and night difference.

4. Her email scandal is a nuclear bomb that will keep on giving until Election Day.

5. She has nothing to run on. Nothing.

A) Economy? Nope. She's Obama 2.0

B) Foreign Policy? You joking??? She and Obama are the architects of the chaos and mayhem in the world today.

Trump simply has to focus on Hillary, and she will be toast... Because she is actually weaker than Obama... And her "ideas" have been tried and are failing miserably.

eh... RCP average still has Clinton at 7 points and winning in a landslide. I find it highly unlikely that he will get a bounce after the debates. (if he shows up at all) People are already getting tired of seeing Trump making a fool of himself on TV. They'll at least live with Clinton.

Its a good thing Hillary's complete lack of integrity has had no impact on the Democrat brand....

Cotton: Clinton had emails about nuclear scientist executed in Iran | TheHill

!. Cotton is an idiot.

2. Maybe you were unaware, but it was...in all the papers at the time.

Surprise!

Re: Reuters poll: Trump back in striking distance

Of course not, but once the electoral system is shut down or rigged by the socialists, the exit via the electoral process is no longer open. Notice that today Chile has a representative government.

And after a nightmare of authoritarian rule Chile now has a President that believes in a mix of socialism and capitalism like we do. I rest my case.

So there was no mention of this now executed Iranian Scientist in Hillary's Emails ? Or did Cotton make all of that up ??

First, it's early, second 7 points isn't a " landslide " and third, Wikileaks has already promised to release a second batch of E-mails. Lets see how long that 7 point lead holds up.
