New Reuters poll: Trump back in striking distance

actually Al Gore's so called popular vote lead was within the margin of error, add the overseas military votes instead of just Florida and that lead is 0.

Please back up this claim with third party evidence.

Clinton's lead over Trump narrows to less than three points: Reuters/Ipsos poll | Reuters

The DNC was her last chance to shake Trump lose. If he gets any bounce after the debates she is in big trouble.

...and the Fox News poll over the same period has Hillary by 10. The polls don't mean much until after the first debate, but if you want to discuss them, all of them show Trump losing, some by a lot.

Trump is already cooked as a candidate, but you will be able to stick a fork in him then. The Oakland Raiders are more likely to win the Super Bowl than Trump the Presidency. There just are not enough angry, uneducated, older white male voters to carry this for him.

What does that have to do with Hillary mentioning him in E-mails on a unsecure Server ??
Really, do I have to explain how the US came out and stated he was due to receive millions for information on Iran's nuke program?
That is what got him hung.

Don't forget that Hillary, and the media, is blowing their wad early on Trump and he has really yet to begin punching. He's saving it for when it's relevant and it won't have time to die out.

I suspect the Clinton campaign is saving the best for last as well.

I suspect the Clinton campaign is saving the best for last as well.

Possibly, but there doesn't seem to be much for saving with Trump. He just kinda mouth-vomits everything all up-front.

Sept will bring out the attack adds - Clips right from Rumps mouth.
No it is not misspelled

It's kind of like the Schroedinger cat situation: You cannot really say which is worse, until you elect him or her. Whoever we will elect will be worse....

No I'm pretty sure I can tell.

Yep he was, and the Democrats payed for it in 2014. His re-election should have helped them take back the House, add seats in the Senate and even turn my great State, the State of Texas Blue. But the GOP took back the Senate, added seats in the House and Texas added GOP seats to their State legislature. Not too mention the GOP Governorships that have been added since 2008 and that includes Blue States like Wisconsin and Michigan.

He's done more harm to the Democrat brand than almost any President preceding him and now Hillary's taking a crack at destroying the brand all together. The Democrats cant run on any of Obama's "successes ". They cant run on the economy, they cant run on ObamaCare and they sure cant run on his disastrous Foreign policy gaffes. This means they're purely relegated to divisive and toxic identity politics and pandering to win elections and that nonsense only appeals to so many people. The uniformed voters.

Obama's job approval ratings don't seem to support your claim. In fact, he's doing better than most presidents at the end of their term...including Reagan.

Compare that to Bush who had the lowest ratings of any US president in history at the end of his second term....and you'll know why he didn't campaign to help other republicans get elected in 2008.

Apparently the clintons are not waiting for September.

I read that she bought air time during the Olympics - that is pricey, but the deluge will ramp up in Sept. Just my opinion.
And you can be assured she will be making many visits to the rust belt States.

Yeah, keep up that futile wish.

Don't forget the "October surprise".

Yeah, keep up that futile wish.

What wish? I'm just talking about strategy. Hillary is known to peter out over time. She almost lost to a nobody 74 year old avowed socialist, even with cheating. She lost to a nobody junior Senator as last time she ran as well.

Rofl...that's nothing new. That is running non-stop as we speak and it's not doing a whole lot. Law of diminishing returns applies here.

It was a long primary, but hilliary was always ahead in delegates and Bernie was unable to win contests by the margins he needed.

If any of you had even an ounce of objectivity you'd be more concerned that so many people are so easily swayed to one side or the other according to what direction the wind is blowing that day.

But the results of the 2014 Midterms sure do.

But the results of the 2014 Midterms sure do.

This is not a second term presidential election...so I don't really see the relevance of mid term elections for this election.

October surprise - Trump runs his mouth again..... I won't be surprised.

Or just when you think he couldn't do any worse....surprise. lol

Re: Reuters poll: Trump back in striking distance

You mean there's no antidote for "ISM"? Several nations have pulled themselves out of the Socialist hole. The USA can accomplish the same. Take Chile for example, it took drastic measures from Agosto Pinochet, but that country was rescued from Castroism and it's puppet government under Allende.

Are you f*cking kidding me? Pinochet was a dictator who tortured and murdered tens of thousands of Chileans. Ho overthrew the democratically elected government of Allende.

Re: Reuters poll: Trump back in striking distance

Trump should be winning big with the Military and Vets, except for the comments Rump made.

Khans Jeopardize Trump Strategy Banking on Veterans’ Votes - Bloomberg Politics

Trump is up 14 points over Clinton with veterans, 53 percent to 39 percent, according to a Fox News poll released Wednesday. McCain was 22 points ahead at this juncture in the 2008 race with registered voters who had served in the U.S. military; Romney was up 24 points in May 2012, Gallup polling showed.

“Any Republican needs to be between 60 and 70 percent of the military vote,” Wilson said. Trump is under-performing, he said.

She was always ahead but was constantly losing ground the further on. That is classic Hillary. She doesn't have any stamina. The only reason she has a chance is that her opponent is Trump.
