This is to be commended, yet also somewhat interesting in that from my perspective the NBA is populated with some of the most anti-gay athletes in any professional sport.

anyone discriminated at work by almost any employer has access to EEOC administrative process and then the United States District Court. I won't argue what you claim NC did because I haven't seen that reported but federal court is still easily accessible if you follow the administrative EEOC rules

I would agree...they SHOULDNT be necessary. people SHOULD have the intestinal fortitude to say 'cool...I get it. I'll go have someone else bake our cake'. This country decided the issue of who should be allowed to sit at the lunch counter decades ago. Still, there is an accommodation for those whose bronze-age mythology doesn't comport with the values of a 21st century democracy. They can open a private club and discriminate all they like instead of deliberately misrepresenting themselves as a place of public accommodation.
