Mitt Romney announcing VP selection tomorrow (Saturday), 9 ET[W:134, 926]

Re: Mitt Romney announcing VP selection tomorrow (Saturday), 9 ET[W:134]

Was this supposed to make sense? Who is talking about 2003....and what does that have to do with stocks?

The question what, I have read the rest of the nonsense before.

A boycott is a boycott, it is what you called for.

What tax rates did Obama reduce? The only reduction in tax rates were the Bush tax cuts fully implement in 2003. Most business owners know that

You really are a waste of time and this is getting old. You deserve Barack Obama. Any idea what the debt service will be on his debt when interest rates rise?

Re: My honest gut about the Ryan pick is ...

welfare: aid in the form of money or necessities for those in need. Charity is another form of welfare, the point still stands, you can't call for people to not get EITC's and then say they should get charity, the logic conflicts, they are the same people.

Yes, and I support households getting EITC"s.

Right.

You support "someone else's" money being used to support folks thru welfare, that way it doesn't take away from your personal loot, right?

I pay taxes just like, you which supports folks on welfare, and I give to chartries.

And on topic, I think Romney will pick Paul Ryan and excellent choice.

I love telling people to their face that they failed to accept personal responsibility and collecting unemployment for 2 years makes them unemployable.

hyperpartisan internet bravado aside, that's an incredibly ugly thing to say to anyone. i hope that you don't truly carry that kind of poison around in your heart.

Re: My honest gut about the Ryan pick is ...

We all pay "some form of taxes". Not the problem. It's those that pay Fed taxes and then get it all back and in some cases get more than they paid in to boot. Wrong, wrong, wrong. Pay your fair share.

Yea uhhh good luck with telling people that who are impoverished especially the most extremely impoverished, plus good luck telling people that in the economy like this..

What's with the "socialism" thingy? All I want is every American to pay their fair share. No one gets a free ride. Put some skin in the game.

Because i thought you claimed it was "socialism"....

You mean an economy with Obama as the "leader" of the country? How about those Obama results? He had his chance, now it is time for Romney and Ryan. If they have the same kind of results at the end of 4 years as Obama they will be one term President and Vice President too

Fact of the matter Conservative you and i can bitch and moan about how slow the economy is recovering and we both disagree on how to make the economy grow again but fact of the matter is that there is positive growth now and has been growing for a while, all Obama has to run on his his current record, and debate. Romney cannot debate worth ****, Romney flip flops way too much, and Romney's majority of policies especially with entitlements are not popular and the Paul Ryan choice just made it a lot worse.
So guess what stilll bitch about that its not going as quick as you want it to, and keep on living in the farce that Bush was the best, etc but guess what fact of the matter its becoming growth has occurred and has been occurring.

I posted this before on here, but for your info I have a family member on welfare. I've been "supplementing" his welfare but after 2 years I explained he needed to get a job because my funding him was done. This is a way of life for him now. He likes not working and living on what he can get. So I've seen this 1st hand.

Now are there folks that fall into a category who need help? Yes. Should "we the taxpapers" help these folks? Yes. But this is not a lifetime benny.

There are 23 million unemployed/under employed Americans that disagree with you. You obviously have no clue as to what leadership is thus the support for Obama. Sorry, but I have been in a leadership positions and learned you cannot delegate responsibility. That is all Obama ever does, it is never the problem Obama created. We are going to see in November that your charts and graphs are total distortions of reality as Obama gets the message from the voters, "You're Fired!"

By the way get someone to help you read your chart, 40% of the people approve of the job Obama is doing. That puts you in the minority

I have yet to see one truthful Romney video. And the theme for Saturday was "Save our Country".... Don't need to read too hard between those lines.... we're in danger because the President is un-American, black, muslim, oddly named, the other....

You ignore the Obama results therefore no video on Romney is going to be acceptable to you. You can make all the claims you want but the fact is regardless of race, country of origin, religion, name the President's economic results are a failure and anyone should be embarrassed asking for four more years with that record.

That's the pot calling the kettle black. :lamo

He didn't say anything about his record, he implied he was running a dirty campaign. It actually Romney who is running a dirty campaign. HE'S A LYING SACK...

Mitt Romney says Barack Obama’s plan for welfare reform: "They just send you your check."

Another Obamabot that doesn't know that it is a violation of the law to make an end run around Congress and a law they passed. Obama is running a typical Chicago style campaign which he has to do because he cannot run on his record.

I think that is rather biogted of you to talk that way about the President!

I heard Romney 2008-2000 speak many times and agreed with him, liked what he said. His criticisms of President Obama were fair and intelligent.

So, please, don't presume to know me or understand my position on the issues. I'm not a slave to one party, only capable of regurgitating talking points from one network or another.

Too bad the former Governor of Mass. is not running--he's been replaced with RoboMitt to appease the Teabagging base. And too bad he didn't pick a very experienced Republican with no baggage as his running mate.

I agree it is bigoted. But it's not me talking. I was paraphrasing what the "Save our Country" message is trying to imply to the Teabagging base. The rubes. The mostly white, and old people who will vote against their self-interest because any critical thinking skills they once had are long gong...

Re: My honest gut about the Ryan pick is ...

Keep spouting the lies, doesn't matter how many times you say it the govt. isn't giving anything to the rich, it is their money first.

Look - we get it that you BELIEVE that. We get it that you want to BELIEVE that. We get it that if you were strapped to a lie detector and asked about that issue you would pass with flying colors because you BELIEVE it. We get that you have made a conscious decision to BELIEVE it.

But its still a load of crap.

Re: My honest gut about the Ryan pick is ...

I think it's time you grasped the math. Wealth concentration has become so acute, aggravated by a history of tax cuts since 1960, to the point that the top brackets, the inheritance tax threshold, and capital gains reductions have resulted in the bottom 80 percent owning only 12 percent of the wealth.

This trend will not be reversed by legislation encouraging and protecting labor organizing and collective bargaining, and the bottom 4 quntiles have no wealth to tax. Your opinion is thus incoherent. This is not an income disparity issue. Increases in inheritance taxes and in taxes on owned wealth are remedial, SKIN IN THE GAME IS IRRATIONAL RIGHT WING PROPAGANDA, just as indoctrination to train the mindless to resent the poorest by demonizing them, ala Reagan droning on about "there's a woman in Chicago" and "a strapping buck with a t-bone steak." If resenting and scape goating the poorest was a NECESSARY pursuit, would the top quintile, 64 million, own 88 percent of all wealth, and the bottom 4 quintiles own just 12 percent of all wealth?

At least obtain the information and reasoning to have and present rational political views.

taxing the rich more will not make the middle and lower classes more productive or more able to compete in the global labor marketplace

and that is the bottom line

all taxing the rich more does is pander to the envy o those who have failed to remain competitive and allow those who pander to them to pretend that they are DOING SOMETHING

Actually it is not the bottom line and you are lying about what taxes do.

We have a nearly $16 trillion dollar debt. We cannot pay it unless we raise taxes - on everybody and that includes you and me and all people who earn dollar one.

Re: My honest gut about the Ryan pick is ...

The rich receive far more than the poor, we have gone over this many times, you lose this argument every time.

yeah you all repeat that blatant lie time and time again and it forces you to claim that the 5% who pay more of the federal tax bill than the other 95% USE more of the services funded by those taxes than the other 95%--a claim that is beyond idiotic

we can prove that the bottom 90% use far far more of the direct government spending than the top10% so you all make up fraudulent claims that the "military" is more beneficial to the rich etc

its all made up garbage. the bottom 90% use more than 90% of the government services and yet the top 10% pay a majority of the federal income tax and ALL of the death tax

Your claim is a complete loser

we cannot get rid of the deficit until we massively cut government spending

why should we who pay far too much of the tax burden pay anymore until the government proves it can make massive cuts and those who are paying far less than they should are taxed more FIRST

right now your Master wants to jack up my taxes and allow the masses who demand more and more and more government not pay anymore

I am going to get taxed more to pay for obama care. its time for those who want obama care to pay more=not me and those of us who already fund our own health care
