No one said it has been proven. But the experts who disagree with lab origin are mostly virologists who don't want their research to be restricted. Or medical authorities like Fauci, who don't want to be blamed. As I stated....
They propose that COVID came from a lab. Others don't.
Scientists often disagree on things like that.

Yes he is scary. He sees nothing wrong with the US supporting the research that probably caused the pandemic. He denies any responsibility, and he denies trying to cover it up. Even though there is proof that he did.Indeed.
Evidence to support your claim?
Fauciphobia.

I "harped" on it because covering up his role in creating a pandemic is really not ok. Why do defend anything Fauci has done, no matter how awful? To you.
Damn them for studying infectious disease.
Yeah... Keep harping on that.

The vulnerable should have been protected and everyone else left alone. It was known from the beginning that covid is practically harmless for children, yet their education and social lives were interrupted. Many young people became suicidal. All because of reckless policies that were known to not work.
"Mainstream article" WTF ?I know most of you here don't believe anything said by non-mainstream independent sources. But we are starting to see the official covid lies exposed in mainstream sources also:
Trying to compare influenza with Covid-19 is laughably trite. How many millions have died from the flu? Do you call the flu a deadly disease for everyone?
I said nothing about anything being true.First you call it a conspiracy theory, and then you say it's true. You are very confused.
Perhaps that poster is well over a hundred years old and comparing to memories of the 1918 flu?Trying to compare influenza with Covid-19 is laughably trite.
Who cares, at this late date, where it originated? I sure don't. It came and it destroyed. It will always be with us. So, let's support our scientists who are still working to contain it and make it easier to overcome.Well, I've been told countless times, Covid 19 came from bats, with zero evidence.....with the truth finally being revealed.....I'm saying it came from Wuhan, China in a lab leak.....there I said it twice now, lol. Thank goodness truth is coming out, for these looney's making things such as this are some sick people......they are making virus's up to 50 times more lethal than Covid 19......shutdown them labs, ASAP!!!
Where it came from was important. And definitely worth the time and effort to examine and come to conclusions.Who cares, at this late date, where it originated? I sure don't. And then what? It's here, it's done it's damage and will continue to do so but, to a lesser degree I hope. I agree with what you state what TFG should have done but what difference would knowing where it came from make now, or would it have made back then?Where it came from was important. While POTUS was ramming "kung flu" down our throats.....he should have been following the steps in the Pandemic Playbook.
You made my point. And then what? It's here, it's done it's damage and will continue to do so but, to a lesser degree I hope. I agree with what you state what TFG should have done but what difference would knowing where it came from make now, or would it have made back then?
You are welcome to post the research upon which this person's opinion is based.Plenty of medical experts in public health and epidemiology have said the same thing. But I didn't post them because most here only trust drug industry owned and controlled mainstream news. So here you have Newsweek, not exactly right wing conspiracy.
Please explain how the lockdowns were stupid. The lockdowns were stupid, since epidemiologists knew very well they don't work. However, the lockdowns motivated people to get the vaccines.
The lockdowns did not affect me personally, but I care about the country and the world, not just myself. And I don't like lies and corruption.

They are actually experts in the field being discussed, virology, epidemiology. This guy isn't.So opinions count if expressed by Fauci or the CDC.
Because their standards are not high at all for Opinion pieces. Why did Newsweek publish it?
How many die per year of the flu? Compare that to per year for Covid. How many millions have died from the flu? Do you call the flu a deadly disease for everyone?
Ahh facts..How many die per year of the flu? Compare that to per year for Covid.
Guess what? Flu deaths in US has been between 12k-52k deaths per year for decades. World flu deaths have been under a million per year for decades, on average.
Burden of Influenza
Learn about how CDC estimates the burden of seasonal influenza in the U.S.www.cdc.gov
Covid deaths for the US per year have been 400k+. For the world, millions, per year. That is a lot higher than flu deaths.
Please explain how the research caused the pandemic.

Newsweek's Bizarre Standard for Opinion Writers
Did the total collapse of leadership at Newsweek lead to the sloppy acceptance of Henry Miller's inaccurate, embarrassing attack on the organic industry?usrtk.org
