...Asked Trump 6 follow-up questions, did not ask ANY of Clinton...

At tonight’s debate, Donald Trump faced off not just against Hillary Clinton, but against moderator Lester Holt.

The game of two-on-one saw Holt ask no questions about:

Hillary’s emails
Benghazi
The Clinton Foundation

Lester Holt: The Third Debater? | Heat Street

The moderator will ask follow-ups when the candidate doesn't answer the question to their satisfaction. Clinton was asked about the private server and she apologized and said it was a bad decision. That's the way to deal with a scandal instead of rambling on and tripping yourself up trying to defend all of your bad decisions. She just out-gamed him.

Lester Holt's a corrupt MSM Hillary shill, because he only asked Trump follow up questions! Waaah!

Cry me a river. The only thing Holt did wrong as the moderator was not being able to keep track of the time.

It might be easy to "out-game" someone, when satisfaction is so easily reached.

Somebody admitting that they screwed up leaves a lot less to critique than somebody who will always aggressively defend their every action. That's just the way it is.

Just the way it is? In a debate? Hardly.

You're opinion might apply to people in general, but not in a debate.

Question: "Did you really enact policies that harmed people and put their lives in jeopardy?"

Answer: "I really regret doing that".

Follow up: "Oh, Ok then, moving on..."

It's pretty clear by reviewing the transcripts, etc., who was doing the gaming.

He asked about the server. Why would he ask about Benghazi? And what should he have asked about the Clinton foundation?

He also didn't ask Trump about calling Ted Cruz a *****, attacking his wife and saying that his father killed Kennedy. So by your logic, he was in the tank for Trump.

Lester Holt is a Republican.

Do a little research.

The internet today is a testament to bias confirmation. Conservatives see Hillary as losing; liberals see Trump as losing. All this debate did was give the media commentators some new material use as they keep talking about the same crap like it really matters to people who are struggling and/or fearful. Donald calling Rosie a fat pig and Hillary running millions in negative advertising are of no value to the voters. Debate #1 was a waste of time.

True. There is absolutely no reason to ask Hillary about the pay to play foundation.

WAAAAAH!

When in doubt, blame someone else. (hint, Trump looked bad last night)

If Lester Holt is guilty of anything, it is having little control over Trump and Hillary during that debate.

We all commented about it in the thread going last night during the debate, they were all over the place and Holt's controls were nonexistent.

As for the "third debater" ganging up on Trump... nonsense.

Trump would have made an ass of himself regardless of who the moderator was.

This post is about on the level of blaming Ronald McDonald for the debate outcome because Trump ate a hamburger earlier in the day.

I'll bet he would have looked beautiful if Sean Hannity or some other fair and impartial person was the moderator last night!:boohoo:

This is the first of three. Most people assume the Republican will not get a fair shake.

Trump has no reason to dump it all on her at once.

The question is, is Trump up to the job enough, that we can safely take a pass at an experienced person with a complete absence of honesty, and a trail of destruction in her background?

Hillary made it about him, he got his programs out, she barely blathered out "big government" boilerplate programs.

The polls will be out by Thursday. Then we shall see.

Leftists ripped Matt Lauer apart because he didn't shill for Crazy Crooked Granny. They do that when any leftist strays from the plantation.

Winners do not cry about unfair moderation, bad mics, or anything else. That is because they won and can let the other guy cry and whine. This thread proves that Clinton was the winner last night. Trump and the sniffles did poorly, and it had nothing to do with the moderation, nor the mic. It had to do with letting himself get baited. It had to do with his inability to shut up and let the other person talk. It had to do with his meandering, stream of consciousness answers that rarely answered the question asked. Ultimately, it had to do with a complete lack of preparedness. Lester Holt did not screw Trump, Trump screwed Trump.

That's why I commented on another thread regarding DJT never having done a debate of this nature. He did pretty good having started out with Crazy Crooked Granny and Holt teamed against him. Apparently DJT wasn't phased by Holt. He gave Holt praise. Which is good, shows good sportsmanship. We should let the kookers wring their hands over the fact Granny didn't do as well as she should have.

Oh, I'm purposing a side note again to the thread topic.

Dem justify their label of Trump as a misogynist when he called Rosie a fat pig. Could someone else also justify their label of Hillary as a misandrist (man hater) for her harsh statements of Trump?

Did Rosie deserve the harsh statements by Trump? Did Trump deserve the harsh statements by Hillary? Does any of that matter?

No, this is about media bias by the mod.

Actually, I thought he looked very good, considering this was his first ever debate of this kind. Versus Hillary's years of debate experience.

Trump held his own.

Given the string of whopper lies that Trump told last night, I fear your question is somewhat misplaced.

I disagree. But what's new.

Oh, that is rich!

We've come a long way from when president's claimed: The buck stops here!

Donald Trump's "campaign" is in actuality a thinly disguised cult of personality, and in those nothing is ever the leader's fault. Ever.
