We can talk about the context of this 2018 response to an article, but it's probably more symbolic to point to her more recent public statements during the campaign.
She completely deflected the question and then said the system needs reform. When asked about it she consistently doubles down and says she is proud of her record/behavior as a prosecutor and her only regret is that she didn't prosecute more people. But again, since you had to go back to a footnote included on a 2018 opinion piece that has nothing to do with her presidential campaign and current platform, I'm sure you already knew this and simply don't care.
Yeah, so? One mistake does not mean the system is broken, just imperfect.
