Biden said we should allow more travelers from Wuhan and shutting down travel was racist. That would have had dire consequences. Kamala Harris has made anti-vaxxor statements on a vaccine to try to create polarization over the safety of a vaccine created while Trump is in the White House. Democrats on multiple occasions held up healthcare funding and PPE because they wanted to exploit the virus to obtain Green New Deal provisions.

Trump was optimistic and trying not to cause a panic.

People are going to trust who they are going to trust. Our medical experts are going to lead this. The president will not have much control.
