ICE raids across L.A. spark backlash; Trump officials vow to continue operations

ROFL

Typical of Stalinists - makes a claim with no support and then wants Americans to prove their claim.

Just one more reason that 4 out of 5 Americans agree, democrats suck.

Standard Disclaimer: Many people see slavery as the biggest stain on the history of America. That's close, but democrats are really the biggest stain on America - with slavery as one of their many crimes against humanity.
I welcome you continuing to make a fool of yourself with your insightful views with the political intelligence of a fox viewer.

This is going to be a list of citations from non-Liberal / Progressive echo chamber media reporting.
(You need to ask why the non-Liberal / Progressive echo chamber media DIDN'T highlight this side as much as they highlighted the pro-Dem side)
  • Suppressed Testimony: The committee allegedly withheld testimony from Anthony Ornato, former White House Deputy Chief of Staff, who said Trump suggested deploying 10,000 National Guard troops to secure the Capitol. The report claims this contradicted the committee’s assertion that Trump “never gave any order to deploy the National Guard” (Fox News, 2024).
  • Cassidy Hutchinson’s Testimony: The report alleges the committee promoted Hutchinson’s “sensational” claim that Trump lunged at his Secret Service detail, despite contradictory testimony from the driver and lead agent Robert Engel, which was not publicized.
  • Deleted Records: Loudermilk claimed the committee deleted records and failed to preserve materials, hindering GOP investigations. It also alleged collusion with Fulton County DA Fani Willis to prosecute Trump.

Summary: Loudermilk’s report accused the committee of withholding transcripts contradicting key claims, particularly Hutchinson’s testimony about Trump’s behavior in the motorcade. Specifics:
  • Hutchinson’s Claim: Hutchinson testified Trump lunged at his Secret Service detail and grabbed the steering wheel after being told he couldn’t go to the Capitol. The committee’s report noted the driver and Engel didn’t corroborate this, stating the driver “did not recall seeing what President Trump was doing” and Engel “did not recall Trump gesturing toward him” (CNN, 2024).
  • Withheld Transcripts: Republicans alleged the committee didn’t release these contradictory accounts publicly, emphasizing Hutchinson’s dramatic narrative instead. The report claims this skewed perceptions of Trump’s intent.
  • Counterargument: Thompson’s spokesperson called Loudermilk’s report a deflection from Trump’s responsibility, noting the committee’s report acknowledged the discrepancies. Most witnesses described Trump as “irate” and “insistent,” supporting the broader narrative of his agitation (CNN, 2024).

House GOP alleges January 6 committee withheld transcripts that undercut some of their most explosive claims

The Federalist reported on Ornato’s suppressed testimony, obtained via Loudermilk’s investigation, claiming Cheney and the committee hid evidence that Trump pushed for 10,000 National Guard troops. Details:
  • Ornato’s Account: Ornato testified Meadows urged Bowser to ensure sufficient security, and Trump suggested 10,000 troops to prevent violence, not anticipating a Capitol riot (The Federalist, 2024). He also noted White House frustration with Miller’s delayed response.
  • Committee’s Actions: Cheney allegedly suppressed the transcript and falsely claimed “no evidence” supported Trump’s National Guard claims. The committee’s report suggested Pentagon concerns about Trump issuing an “illegal order” were unfounded (The Federalist, 2024).
  • Impact: The article argues this evidence could have exonerated Trump by showing proactive security measures, accusing Cheney of orchestrating a narrative (The Federalist, 2024).
Trump was in charge of the D.C. National Guard that day. Trump was the one who got all those people to go to D.C. that day. Trump was the one who riled that mob up that day with debunked claims of election fraud. Trump was the one who sicced that crowd on the Capitol with lies about how Pence could have handed him the election, but didn't have the courage to do it. But the D.C. National Guard wasn't there, that's on Trump.

A nice regurgitation of the often regurgitated politically motivated push narratives.
You get a gold star.

The reality is that its not at all as black and white as you are pushing to make it, as the many forum threads on each of those subjects have shown, as my posts in this thread have shown.

Everything I posted is 100% accurate. Too bad if it upsets you.

And still, 100% accurate. The truth doesn't need to be complex. Trump was responsible for having the Guard there that day.
The 'truth' that you appear to accept, and are purporting, just as long as it aligns with your confirmation bias.

The Devil's in the details, but you just want the simple sounds bites you've been told to parrot. 🤷‍♂️

100% accurate

Accuracy, real facts, context is exactly what cult45/47 hates and dismisses when it comes to any and all real truths about dear leader, and replaced with cherry picking, distorting, taking out of context or flat out intentionally lying, no matter what it involves.

Especially though with their never ending desperate need to try to rewrite history of J6. All just to avoid having to admit where and who the real road leads back to.

I note you can't refute a word I said.

So what? This was for the legal, legitimate and fully permitted rally held at the Eclipse.

If you can show me a conviction for incitement to commit a crime, that'd be nice.

There are still questions about the 2020 election results, chief of which is why there were a marked increase in ballots cast (COVID mail in balloting?)
Yep, but WHY?

True.

He knew there was shenanigans in 2020 (on both sides obviously).

This election proved it to many.

Trump was in charge of the D.C. National Guard that day.
Nothing in post #2,291 refutes anything I said. In fact, post #2,291 confirms what I said. Post #2,291 reveals Trump knew there was going to be a massive crowd on J6. Trump knew there were going to be safety concerns on J6. Trump knew the D.C. National Guard was needed on J6. But the Guard wasn't there. That's on Trump, he was the leader of the country that day. It was his responsibility to ensure they were there that day.

I never said assembling that crowd in D.C. was illegal. I said Trump was responsible for that massive crowd being there. Trump was the one who riled them up with lies. Trump was the one who pointed them at the Capitol.

If you can show me a conviction for incitement to commit a crime, that'd be nice.

It's kind of hard to convict someone when the jury is tainted with sycophants like this who vote to acquit after saying this...

There may still be questions about the 2020 election results. You're addressing something I didn't say. I said Trump pumped that crowd with debunked claims of election fraud. Every single claim Trump repeated on J6 had already been debunked. He repeated them anyway, riling up an ignorant mob who believed his every wordlie.

Again show me an incitement conviction.

In all fairness, that was one of my least favorite plays. And my wife and I are avid theater-goers.
I haven't been the the theater in many years but I remember enjoying seeing it way back when.

Le sigh. This was asked and answered 4 years ago.

“Executive departments and Executive agencies may assist the United States Capitol Police in the performance of its duties by providing services (including personnel), equipment, and facilities on a temporary and reimbursable basis when requested by the Capitol Police Board…”

“Assistance under this section shall be provided consistent with the authority of the Capitol Police under sections 1961 and 1967 of this title upon the written request of the Capitol Police Board…”

So not at all as clear as you are trying to pretend it to be.

I never said assembling that crowd in D.C. was illegal. I said Trump was responsible for that massive crowd being there.
Which political rally from which politician ever didn't want a large crowd at their political rally?

Trump was the one who riled them up with lies. Trump was the one who pointed them at the Capitol.

Seems you are confusing 'morally responsible' for being actually criminally responsible, which would have to be proven in court beyond a shadow of a doubt.
But I get it. All you want to manipulate the court of public opinion with, as I correctly called it previously, 'rather simplistic, unsophisticated and binary' sound bites.

Politicians rallying the people with lies is standard practice, it would appear.
Some go so far to as to repeat debunked lies even during Presidential Debates.

In case you've forgotten.

See the post I quoted above. Again, it's not as black and white as you are pretending it is.

Nor I to your delusions of black and white clarity when the reality is something quite different.

Just because you replied to my post doesn't mean refuted even a word of it. You didn't. You just responded.

Strawman. That merely shows the Capitol Police Board can request D.C. National Guard assistance. It doesn't alleviate Trump's responsibility for the Guard not being present that day. Trump is in charge of the D.C. National Guard. The D.C. National Guard reports directly to him. He didn't need the Capitol Police Board to request D.C. National Guard assistance for him to activate the D.C. National Guard. He was in charge but failed to get the Guard to protect the Capitol from his own mob, which he invited to D.C. and which he summoned to the Capitol. Don't think your unabashed devotion (TDS) to him goes unnoticed.

Which political rally from which politician ever didn't want a large crowd at their political rally?
Strawman. I never said he didn't want a large crowd. I said he knew he was going to have a large crowd. Said the Guard needed to be there. Said there were safety concerns. But then he didn't get the Guard there. That's on him, no matter how much you protest.

As I said, do please cite a conviction for
Strawman. I already proved there were members of his jury who acquitted him with their vote despite condemning him with their words.

Strawman. It's not true that a person's crimes have to be proven in a court of law. It's true, that has to occur in order to convict them, or for them to legitimately be called a "criminal," but I have not called Trump a criminal for anything other than crimes for which he has been convicted in a court of law. As far as the court of public opinion, that 'court' is over 300 million strong. This 'court' has maybe a dozen or so people reading this, and even some of those might be ignoring my posts. So my posting here has nothing to do with trying to "manipulate the court of public opinion." That's just absurd. I'm merely pointing out what happened that day AND highlighting your failure to find errors in anything I've said.

Politicians rallying the people with lies is standard practice, it would appear.
Some go so far to as to repeat debunked lies even during Presidential Debates.

In case you've forgotten.
Strawman. I never denied other people lie too. However, Unlike Trump's lies, Biden's lie in that debate didn't inspire anyone to attack our own government.
