I noticed you ignored my last paragraph:
"If "b" or "c" represents your beliefs, could you list the issues that conservatives held in 2008 that have radically shifted farther right today? If you do so, I will gladly do the same in support of mine and Musk's position by listing the things that the left supports today that they didn't back in 2008."
Can you list the positions/values held by conservatives today, that they didn't hold back in 2008 that show this shift farther right? That is the true measure of whether a party has shifted or not.
In response to the things you listed, one is nonsense and the others are the result of false political rhetoric.
First, your Disney example is nonsense. Florida didn't punish Disney, they revoked the special privileges the state afforded them, and did so for good reason. Disney not only openly expressed their opposition to certain laws of the state (that the residents of the state broadly support), they expressed how they have and will take actions to undermine those policies and laws. Disney broke the long held rule that you don't bite the hand that feeds you, and because they did, lost the special tax breaks that the state of Florida was giving them.
Disney is not being treated unfairly nor are they being punished by the state of Florida. They are now going to be treated just like every other company in the state and will have to pay their taxes just like everyone else, therefore your argument is nonsense.
The rest of what you listed is hyped up leftist bullshit. It's manufactured race-card/identity politic crap, along with hyped up rhetoric about a protest that got out of hand that has been publicly condemned by every republican in DC, and nearly every conservative in America. The same can't be said about the democrats and progressives when it comes to the dozens of deaths and multi billions in damages caused by months and months of non-stop looting and rioting by BLM and ANTIFA in cities all across America. The left embraced that violence and to this day refuses to condemn it, while the only 2 events that you people can come up with, were both publicly condemned immediately after taking place by those on the right. The right opposed and condemned political violence back in 2008, just as they still do today.
