Hot, reheated.

Cold pizza is an abomination.

Cold...but only if it's a plain cheese pizza w/extra sauce from Papa Johns. I don't like left over pizza any other way.

Hot, but from the oven. Microwaves make the crust rubbery, it seems, but maybe that's because I should use a lower power.

cold and cut up into small pieces

If I reheat it I'm peeling off the toppigs and then scraping off the sauce moistened crust with a fork. I don't know why pizza is so fabulous when it's disassembled.

my favorite :

1. order pizza
2. refrigerate 2 hr to o/n
3. oven preheated to 350-400F
4. slices on cookie sheet; 5-7 minutes

=

better-than-fresh heated pizza slices, reduced grease, crust perfect.

Agree. Microwave heating is unsatisfactory.

I have to ask... How did you discover this?

As a kid it was a hell of a lot of fun. . . and I never really grew up. :)

:rofl but it drove my mom NUTS - I don't know why . . . pizza is such a fun food I don't care if my kids play with it while they eat. My youngest loves to roll his up and eat it like a cheesy burrito - I think it's cute.

I like left over pizza, just plain left. There was a place in Chesterfield, Virginia on Midlothian called Sal's. That pizza was food for the gods. Few pizzas have rocked me since.

My wife is a pizza freak. She has rarely met a pizza she didn't like, though she most definitely has her own pizza standards.

I used to like cold leftover pizza as a kid, now that I look back, I think something was wrong with me.

Warmed up or no pizza at all for me. Heating it up in the oven is the best method, but microwaving it is quick and easy at the expense of the pizza not tasting too great.

cold.......with Texas Pete (thats a brand of hot sauce for those who dont know, kind of like Frank's)

Cold or warm. Depends on my mood.

If found that I can heat it in the microwave at a lower power and it warms without destroying the crust.

Yes. Too many people just blast food to smithereens with a microwave. I've found that if you decrease the power a bit it heats much better and more evenly. Still not as good as reheating in an oven, but acceptable.

One thing I will do is heat at 70% or 80%, then "finish it off" at 100% for about 20-30 seconds.

What the **** is "leftover pizza"?!?!?!
A rare concept in my house, to be sure.

A truly mythical concept in mine. Unless the wife decides she wants onions on her pizza, which I absolutely refuse to eat under any conditions. Nothing will **** up the flavor of pizza like onions as a topping. You might as well just take a **** on it.

As long as the pizza isn't Papa John's, that might actually taste pretty good. :2razz:
I'm with you here. I've tried Papa Johns and it does absolutely nothing for me. I can eat it if I'm in a group situation, but that's as far as I'm willing to go. At that point it's just body fuel in a social situation, nothing more.

It depends. If I'm hungry cold.... If I'm not so hungry and can bear to wait 10 minutes, heated.;)

Always cold...gives the dough character.

Reheated in the oven till its crispy...cold or microwaved pizza I will not eat.

I like cold pizza better than freshly baked hot pizza, hands down. Cold lasagna too.
