Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem transported by ambulance to DC-area hospital, sources say

I know it would be next to impossible to control, but I personally believe any law enforcement gear/wear should only be sold to persons who can prove they are legitimately and currently employed in law enforcement. For the safety of not only the real officers, but the public in general. And anyone caught impersonating law enforcement should be held highly accountable. I don't think it's right for just anyone off the street to be able to buy tactical gear and clothing that presents them as something they clearly are not. Not doing this presents a danger to all of us.

Maybe the public would have more faith in the system if they knew there were no home-grown phony freaks pretending to be cops.....

That is what really upsets me. The immigrant community knows and understands if not documented there’s always a chance of getting deported, but if a person has applied or is following the process just leave them alone

Are you talking about the snickering and rude comments or the pleas for graciousness toward Noem's emergency hospitalization?

We are not the only one mocking and snickering; and doing so on DP is not the same as Trump's very public mocking of a disabled reporter and similar incidents or Noem's celebratory "Suck it" to immigrants on X and other similar incidents.

And if you think the RW is ever going to start acting like decent human beings because DP posters express sympathy to people like Christie Noem, think again; as we speak they are celebrating the denial of humanity to women, immigrants, low wage workers, the elderly, the disabled, trans-sexuals, gays and the homeless by canceling essential services to all of these people.

And besides, if you think the RW press's deep concern over emergency hospitalization of Christie isn't funny just look at her hospital picture smiling out at observers with her delightfully pouty new lips in her hospital gown folded just right to display her delightfully perky new boob job.

Come on; fair is fair. If you are going to act like a Noem you're going to get snickers and sarcasm. I don't think we should be agonizing over our lack of respect and empathy.
