This evening Biden lowered the flag at the White House for the 500,000 Americans killed by Covid. That makes lowering the flags in Texas for Rush seem somehow small.

How many times did the Trump admin lower the WH flag for Covid victims? Since it is an ongoing tragedy, should the flag be kept at half mask, and to commemorate further events, be lowered it to quarter staff, then back up to half, until this is 'over'?

Post kind of wandered at the end but I'll let it fly.

He pretty much made talk radio. He also spoke for people who really didn’t have a national voice before him. Yes he was controversial, but since when was that a bad thing? Even putting all that aside, he was a national celebrity with millions of listeners who made his home in Florida and a state honoring a “local” celebrity by lowering state flags to half mast is not uncommon.

Most of what you post on this forum I can find no common ground. But I would never say of you about what you have posted toward Rush Limbaugh. It would take a mortician that feels like you do to feel that way. I guess hate as destructive as it is has no boundries.

Most people I personally know and associate with are ALL way better human beings than Rush ever was.

They are MORE honest, caring, humble, respectful, genuine, good-spirited and have more integrity. They are LESS vindictive, racist, bigoted, misogynistic, homophobic, evil and do less fear-mongering by spreading hate, lies and conspiracies. Most of them are what people SHOULD be and not a POS like he was.

It takes one of three things to think rush was good person, a hero or an idol
A.) Topical ignorance (you simply don’t know what a vile person he was)
B.) Dishonesty (you lie about what a vile person he was)
C.) You share his bigoted and hateful views so it doesn’t matter

He won’t be missed by anybody honest, educated and objective with a good heart and human decency.

He denigrated scientists, attacked Sandra Fluke, said the election was stolen, and made bigoted comments about Obama. That probably influenced the governor’s decision.

The "you're" was referencing "you lefties" from the previous sentence is how it reads to me. Not accusing you specifically of burning things to the ground.
