I think all the discussion about what the details of Zimmerman shooting Martin is pointless.

Great, so now we don't have to discuss the points of the case to dissuade the foolish charges of racism...We now have the entrance of those wanting legal gun owners to cower and run from criminals wanting to do harm as well....Good plan.

It's the SYGL that is the root cause of everything in this thread.

Well, not by itself no....For instance, if you and I were talking about crime in general and you made that statement to me, it is no big deal...But, when talking to 911, while stalking a 17 yr old armed with skittles, and you say that, then later are standing over his dead body, I think I would have some questions for the gentleman....

Have you had a loaded gun pointed at you? I have by someone I caught that had taken criminal actions against my property? I have. I want an answer, don't be a wimp.
If you note in my posts I'm suggesting that the SYGL in Florida be used to support someone with a gun following the SYGL take care of Zimmerman as Florida intends.
Let me share two experiences I had as a kid. I had a German Shepard sicked on me when I was on my bike. I went home, got my baseball bat and went back. The dog was sent after me again. I crushed a good portion of the dogs skull but he didn't die right away. Perfect. Also, I was beset by a gang of 5. They had also taken my bike. Only one was smaller than me. I got my chance and put him in a position that if I was attacked he'd be killed. I got my bike returned and the 4 walked away in my sight as instructed. The SYGL would be perfect for me, how about you?

Well, not so much...This seems to have gotten traction due in large part to outcry online through petitions and such. The Sharpton's of the world wait to see if there is a story that can get them the face time they desire, then they go down, not the other way around.

I did have a punk of a next door neighbor kid when I lived in MD, that was trying to evade police looking for him one night and held him at shotgun point while my my daughter went and got the cops, because he broke into my daughters room.

As for the other sounds like you live in a pretty tough area, so I might be misreading your posts, are you in support of SYGL?

As for offing Zimmerman, I don't want that, just justice.

I saw on TV this morning on the news crawl that WLS-chicago was reporting that the FBI had a recording of Trayvon calling 911. I can't find any links so it may have been bogus. My bad.

I don't think Florida has gotten its lesson yet. Especially when they are saying it doesn't apply when it clearly does. So I think Florida needs justice the Florida way, sorry.
