The only concoction he had to come up with was that Zimmerman attacked him from behind. Sans that testimony, Zimmerman would be in jail. I would venture to say that every single gun owner has come up with, "Here's what I'd say if I ever had to shoot someone."

Zimmerman has reported suspicious people in the past. Not in a single one of those cases, had Zimmerman attacked or restrained the individual, instead just keeping them in view so the police could find them.

Additionally, Zimmerman outiieghed Martin (even though Zimm was out of shape) and it would seem more likely that for Martin to get the upperhand as he did and Zimmerman to be forced to scream for help, that Martin took the surprise by initiating contact.

I do not know for certain either way. I only indicate that your accusations are much less likely then you want to believe.

It is subjective isn't it?
How long do you think it takes a person who suffers through multiple traumas like he did to regain his wits and concoct a lie that fits the evidence, even that which is unknown to him?

He was the yelling for help. Kind of shows he had not intended to kill anyone that evening and shows that he most likely acted in self defense.
To want to concoct a lie he would have to believe he had done wrong. That is not apparent.
Then the multiple traumas he received. Being attacked and beaten, killing someone, and then being taken into custody.
He wasn't of mind to concoct a lie that could stand up to scrutiny. He would have to know that absolutely no one saw the incident start.

Then on top of this he didn't lawyer up and fully cooperated with police.

You can pretty much guarantee he is telling the truth.

Thanks. All I was looking for is understanding that a frustrated Zimmerman could have screwed up. Martin could have given Zimmerman verbal abuse especially given what he told his girlfriend he was going to do, just walk fast not run. And Zimmerman saying that they always get away.
So, with the SYGL Zimmerman was the winner, he had the gun.

Again, Zim was calling for help after the critical event. The critical event is who started the fight. Why are you focusing on what happened after? But, still with the SYGL Zim won.

To me this sounds like murder for hire. Last I checked this is a crime. You cannot pay or even offer to pay for the murder of another person.

When asked whether he was inciting violence, Muhammad replied defiantly saying: “An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth.”

The bounty announcement came moments after members of the group called for the mobilization of 10,000 black men to capture George Zimmerman, the Neighborhood Watch volunteer who shot Trayvon Martin last month.

Muhammad said members of his group would search for Zimmerman themselves in Maitland and Jacksonville — where the 28-year old worked before the shooting, employees there told the Orlando Sentinel.

Muhammed led the group in chanting "Justice for Trayvon!" and "Black Power!"

I sincerely hate that people can walk around shouting "black power" in response to something they perceive as racism. Bunch of idiotic hypocrites. Black Power is racist too.

They accused newly-appointed special prosecutor Angela Corley of being an enemy of the black community.

"She has a track record of sending innocent young black men and women to prison," he said.
Sanford police arrived toward the end of the demonstration Saturday asking onlookers and media to avoid walking into the street in front of The Retreat at Twin Lakes where Trayvon was killed.
As the officer walked back to his cruiser, Muhammad berated and pointed angrily at him saying "If you'd had shown this much concern, Trayvon may still be alive today."

Groups like this are making things about race. Black community and black men and women that they are referencing are specifically racist. No attempt to conceal it and yet it gets no attention. And what is it exactly that the officer they were berating was supposed to have done in order to keep Trayvon alive?

For the same reason that Holder refused to investigate the Philidelphia voter intimidation case.

A little different, insofar as there was no intimidation or crime in the election case. This, OTOH, seems like it should be a police matter. btw, the New Black Panther Party has no connection to the original Black Panthers. The NBPP is as racist as any white supremacist group.

The dispatcher did not give an order, but a suggestion. It's not illegal to ignore a suggestion. As for following, in the capacity of NW, that is not illegal.

So far the facts show that what Zimmerman did up until right after he got out of his car was not illegal. From there, we don't know.

The grand jury will only get the evidence if there is an arrest and charges filed. I would like to see that happen. I think it's entirely fair to go through the legal system and to let Zimmerman be acquitted in court rather than just let the police play judge.
