Do those WHO PAY NO FEDERAL INCOME TAXES have a right to dictate how much others pay?
Do those WHO PAY NO FEDERAL INCOME TAXES have a right to dictate how much others pay? Seems to be a fair question. Seeing how 50% of American households pay no federal income taxes is it fair for these people to demand that others who do pay income taxes pay more?

these people don't dictate anything.
They dictate by calling, writing, emailing and faxing their elected representatives.

Are you suggesting they not be allowed to do this? Pardon the obvious question, but what happened to the Constitution?

That I pay no Federal income tax has nothing to do with my voice as an American citizen..I just finished paying over $900 in real estate taxesDo those WHO PAY NO FEDERAL INCOME TAXES have a right to dictate how much others pay? It always amuses me when people piss bitch and moan about the rich using the tax system to pay as low as possible of a income tax rate when many of these same people use that same tax system to not pay any federal income taxes and to sometimes get back extra.
Apparently our founders intended that only those who can "buy speech" (read: bribe public officials) should have the freedom to speak.
The rich are more likely to do these things, not the poor or working people.
I am sure those occu-tard protesters did more than just harass people, vandalize property, commit all so sorts of crime while claiming to represent 99% of the people. They most likely contact their elected officials as well.
Should those corporations that receive government subsidies be allowed to have lobbyists and contribute to election campaigns and PACs?
Much less than you might think. There were likely not heard at all. Access is much more likely among the wealthy. Sorry.

And you base this on what? Seeing how liberal politicians push for welfare benefits for illegals, put this progressive tax system in place and many other things you assertioins that they do not get heard is false.
I don't feel like it would be ethical for me personally to demand that somebody with a higher effective rate than mine pay even more to support services I use. Especially when my tax burden is not so significant that it prevents me from advancing my current position. Of course, ethics have little to do with the political polarization that's so prevalent in today's society.
