That would be that person's personal view. Still not relevant to anyone but that person. Definitely not relevant to this speech. Again, context matters.

In the context of a world where "Jihad" has a specific meaning.

Well, the world IS "filled with racism" (Americans just don't like to admit it and prefer to blame the victims for their victimization), and the world IS "filled with extreme versions of individualism and capitalism" (emphasis added), and the world IS "filled with White Supremacy" (Americans just don't like to admit it), and a "jihad" is a struggle against opposition forced (such as "racism" "extreme versions of individualism and capitalism" and "White Supremacy"), and you can be overly "objective" and/or "neutral" so that you take the "First they came for the ..." position until you discover that they are coming for you and there is no one left to stand with you.
