You said you have no idea if the flight was longer or shorter and you don't realize that they're setting a precedent so that more people on more flights on their airplanes are not exposed (including flight attendants or pilots or whomever). This will probably be the only time you hear a story about someone not wearing a mask on a Delta flight. They have put an end to it.

And then you complain about other people not thinking this through.

What's really happening is you've come into a thread where you should simply say that these people were totally stupid but you're trying to make some other argument because your favorite political person told people for the longest time that masks were not important and the Corona viruses was going to be gone after 15 cases.

TSA officers seized an assault rifle along with a high-powered magazine and an arsenal of ammunition that was hidden inside of a woman's checked luggage at Newark Liberty International Airport on Monday.

According to a news release published by the agency on Tuesday, the illegal items were "artfully concealed behind the lining of a suitcase" before being discovered during routine baggage screening at Terminal C.

Officers alerted Port Authority Police, who tracked down and arrested the female passenger and her travel companion as they approached their departure gate.

"Our TSA officers are very skilled at detecting firearms and other prohibited items," said Tom Carter, TSA’s Federal Security Director for New Jersey, in a statement. "In this case, they detected an assault rifle, which is illegal in New Jersey; a high-capacity magazine, which is also illegal in New Jersey; four boxes of hollow-point bullets, again, illegal in New Jersey; three magazines, one of which was fully loaded; and two additional boxes of rifle ammunition."

There's a simple solution other than some convoluted equation to figure out potential exposures. Follow the rules, wear a mask. Smart people don't even have to wait to be told.

I check ahead of time if they have a mask requirement. If they don't, I stay away. I read that 70% of people want masks being mandatory, so call or bombard them via social media, so that business become aware of the fact. Shout it from the rooftop.

And for the record, I started masking up in late February. At the same time the Surgeon General, the CDC and the WHO were telling people to NOT wear masks.
