The police are not filing charges against the 23-year-old, due to lack of physical evidence (despite the fact that he's confessed).
Apparently, they feel he's been through enough.
I would have to agree with them, and I'm glad they won't file charges. One can confess to a crime, but they should never be found guilty unless their is evidence. Really I think it's a non issue. So what? A 23 year old sent a nude photo to a 17 year old girl. She can delete the photo, smack the guy in the face, and never have to deal with him again if she wants. I think it's being overblown.
