Cumberland County Sheriff's deputies use Taser on woman blocking McDonald's drive-thr

Re: Cumberland County Sheriff's deputies use Taser on woman blocking McDonald's drive

Like you are familiar with South Carolina......... The cops did the right thing..

Sterotypes never really hold water.

I don't think there is a Cumberland County in South Carolina. I might be wrong but I do live in S.C.

Re: Cumberland County Sheriff's deputies use Taser on woman blocking McDonald's drive

I suppose if they didn't have tasers they would have shot her? The people right to Mcdonals can't be delayed, block the drive through and you shall be electrocuted!

No, I don't believe in shooting people for violating the sanctity of the queue.... for first offense anyway. ;)

Re: Cumberland County Sheriff's deputies use Taser on woman blocking McDonald's drive

How is that a better solution, and how is someone's death a better solution? I'm assuming you're being sarcastic?

Why does everyone assume that? I'm being dead serious. I place a very high moral value on social harmony, on people behaving appropriately in public so that people can go about their lawful business in an orderly, efficient fashion. She's an entitled bitch who refuses to play by the rules of civilized society, and when civilized people refused to give in to her unreasonable demands, she deliberately made a nuisance of herself and tried to prevent everyone from simply going about their own business until those demands were met.

At that point, the value of her life to me is not only vastly outweighed by the value of everyone else in line getting their deep-fried meat paste it is actually a negative value-- killing her would be good for society, not only removing one person like her from society but sending a clear message to everyone else like her that they will learn to play by the rules or by the gods we will burn them off the face of the planet.

Regarding the incident...

I'm not conviced that the cops went overboard in their use of tazers here (in a different mode, apparently)

Possibly they did, but...

Secondly, first off, why the hell did this woman think she could do this?

And thirdly, why in the freaking hell didn't the McD manager or crew simply take her order and fill it right there at the damned window, allowing her to pass on...

Far less issue, I would think, unless she started trying it every time...In which case, have a tow truck on standby and simply tow her, car and all, to a parking slot...

I dunno...

Evidently they got tired of her REPEATEDLY doing this.

Do it once, and she'll expect it every time-- which is what had already happened. This is the time the manager finally put his foot down. The mistake was giving in the first time, which is exactly what you're advocating.

Ah.

My mistake, I somehow missed the part about this being a repetitive thing.

The situation now makes more sense.

Sure as hell, if I had this…person…do such a thing multiple times at my store, I’d eventually reach the point of “ok, this time the customer is NOT right”.

What the hell is wrong with this woman, that the situation required police?

I…can’t seem to grasp the mentality here…if there is any…

But personally, I would have accepted it the first time, disallowed it the second.
Then if she insisted on waiting at the window til served, I would have (assuming my McD’s had two windows) combined the window functions into the first, sent a employee out to direct traffic, and just sent people around her stupid ass.

Dunno if that would work, but methinks letting her sit there for hours would be amusing, to an extent.

My first thought was that the deputies were nuts. Tazed for sitting in a drive-thru? Then I read the article. After the police arrived, they told her to move her car. She refused. They asked her to exit her car. She refused. There was a toddler in the car, so they removed the child. Then they told her again to exit the car, and she apparently made what they interpreted as a threat to run people over. So they yanked open the door and tried to drag her out. She was fighting them, so they stunned her (no needles, just a stun). She still fought. After the second stun, "she flopped out of the car like a fish." I mean, sorry but :lamo , damn. This bitch was asking for it. The cops spent 20 freakin' minutes on this stupid twit, so I say taz away.

Apparently she did this on a regular basis, and had nearly hit other cars in the process so they were sick to death of the behavior. Bet they don't see it again.

First close the drive thru window. Then send someone out with a platter of fries and a battery operated fan. To lure her away.

If that doesn't work, give her kid an espresso and a free puppy.

Re: Cumberland County Sheriff's deputies use Taser on woman blocking McDonald's drive

Give her a raw hamburger, raw french fries, and some dirty dishwashing water for a soda.
Collect her money.

As she drives away thinking she's "won", have the police waiting to arrest her.

Re: Cumberland County Sheriff's deputies use Taser on woman blocking McDonald's drive

Tanna said deputies are not allowed to use Tasers on a person who simply refuses to comply with orders without danger involved, but in this case Lucca was engaging in "threatening behavior."
We had a similar thread about a park ranger and someone walking their dog. The dog owner got tased for merely walking away from the ranger. I would say that was non-threatening. So in this case they "claim" it was threatening.

Comments?

Motor vehicle can be a weapon.

If there was a way to disable the car completely so somebody could easily hook a truck to it and tow it off the property then there would be no need to taze her.

If she was sitting in driver's seat with car running, she was basically in control and possession of a weapon.

Re: Cumberland County Sheriff's deputies use Taser on woman blocking McDonald's drive

What is it about McDonalds that brings out the stupid in people?

You really don't see the connection?

Re: Cumberland County Sheriff's deputies use Taser on woman blocking McDonald's drive

LOL - I thought the answer was obvious: beat her with a pipe wrench. . . that'll teach her :)
...AND emotional satisfaction and stress relief for the person with the pipe wrench. A win-win. :2razz:

Hey now, we have forums for sex talk. ;)

Apparently, she does do it all the time, and other's inaction has taught her that her bullying is effective.

Re: Cumberland County Sheriff's deputies use Taser on woman blocking McDonald's drive

Call a tow truck, tow it somewhere safe, set it on fire. If she still refuses to get out, better.

LOL funniest thing I read all day. Thanks! I needed that.

Re: Cumberland County Sheriff's deputies use Taser on woman blocking McDonald's drive

Look, when you're ****ing up, and the cops tell you to quit ****ing up, you should comply. Failing to comply will involve some sort of ass-kicking.

Was she arrested I want to see a mug shot. This story is awesome. Taze that birch.

Re: Cumberland County Sheriff's deputies use Taser on woman blocking McDonald's drive

Lol, can't make this up if you tried.
Isn't eating McD's punishment enough?
