You guys need to figure out what the hell you guys want, how much it's supposed to cost and who's going to pay for it, and then campaign on that final vision for the next Presidential term. If the "wall" were a corporate project division that department would have been shut down with everyone fired a year ago.

According to the Mexican Migration Project they estimate that the probability of getting caught by border agents while crossing the border illegal has never risen above 40%.
Meaning 60% of those that try to cross illegally are successful and are now here in your neighborhood.
With rates that low how can we say Americans are safe.

LOL...Nah...This statement just shows how very little you know about "corporate projects".... Anyway, your blather aside, a plan has been submitted that asks for 234 miles of steel bollard barriers, 75 Immigration judges, 2,000 additional detention beds, Technology for our ports of entry to better screen traffic through there, more border agents, etc....You know that...I just wish for once you'd wake up and say 'ya know, today? I think I'll be honest'....I guess that is too much to dream.

"A plan has been submitted." The vagueness of that claim makes me suspect that either no plan has been submitted or that it was submitted by somebody on Reddit.

And who will pay for that "plan"? American disaster victims? I thought Mexico would pay for it.

You, like Acosta, are (intentionally?) missing the point entirely. Where we have an existing and effective physical border barrier is not the issue - where we now lack an effective physical border barrier is the issue.

But in fact, the figure she seems to be citing is based on 2017 data, not 2018, and refers to stops made by Department of Homeland Security across the globe, mainly at airports.
According to Justice Department public records and two former counterterrorism officials, no immigrant has been arrested at the southwest border on terrorism charges in recent years.

When Trump has proposed a fully fleshed out plan with a serious cost analysis, as well as a serious proposal for how it is to paid for, then he can submit that to his platform in his run for his second term.

Making it up as he goes is no way to do this, and the majority of the public is sick of his horse****.
