[h=3]Breaking News: Herman Cain Wins Florida Presidential Straw Poll, Rick Perry 2nd[/h]
Interesting turn of events now to see what Hermain Cain does with this momentum!
Cain is such a loss. Months ago, his ideas on finances, etc. caught my eye....then he cozied up to the religious right.
What a shame.
Great. A douche who supports discriminating against Muslims.
Most Republican hopefuls cozy up to the religious right, pretty much a base for them especially this early in the campaign. It is no different than Democrats cozied up to Unions, pretty much a base for the left. Not saying this is ideal or anything, just saying it is expected behavior and each party has their issues with that expected behavior. No matter how partisan you are, you should at least be able to see that.
I'm surprised to see him win this straw poll, since I didn't think he that much gas.
I would love to see him get the nomination, if for no other reason than to see Left wing heads explode.
Do you actually think he would have a chance in the general election?
I don't and I think left wingers would be thrilled to have him nominated.
The longer the troop of GOP contenders stays whole and chews each other up...the worse its going to be for the eventual nominee...I would think.
I dont think Herman Cain will get the nomination and I think the chances are increasing it wont be perry.
Would be laughable if Newt Gingrich or Santorum surges next. Id like to add I personally Like Cain alot better than most all of the others.
Anyone, who isn't named, "Barack Obama", has a better than average chance in the general election, at worst. Cain would damn near be a shoe-in, because he would grab a significant portion of the black vote.
And if he gets elected again is your head gonna pop?
No, I don't. I have supported GOPers who were pro-choice. I reject the argument that the means justify the ends.
The only thing the Republican candidate has to worry about in the general election, is if too many voters stay home and don't vote against Obama.
