A salient point I've made to Conservative in the past. Of course I received many of the same deflections presented here (liberals only buy rhetoric etc.) but if one is a political strategist, it's got to sting the party you're representing can't make headway in the areas where 80% of the US population resides. I've always felt that what the GOP needs to do is move away from the culture war issues its relied on since the 80s and start thinking bigger picture.

One of the interesting outcomes of the 2020 election was the fact more minorities voted GOP because of Trump, so the question in my mind is whether they're going to try and build on that without the cult of personality type figures, or double down and keep going down the road of highly polarizing candidates. I don't see the latter being an effective strategy mainly because of the results of the 2020 election.

I am beginning to realize that actual verifiable results don't matter but that won't stop me from posting them. Please note the employment numbers from the time the recession began WITH a Democratic Congress and when Obama left office and what happened by the end of 2019

When the recession began there were 146 million Americans working first quarter 2008 and when Obama Left office there were 152 million Americans working or 6 million NEW jobs created from April 2008 to January 2020. Not a pretty picture. On the next post I will give you the Part time jobs for economic reasons, those are people who wanted full time jobs but couldn't find them in the booming Obama economy.
