The 2nd amendment wasn't created so that we can go hunting and shoot burglars. It was a ban on semiautomatic firearms under the guise of an assault weapons ban, a ban on standard capacity magazines under the guise of a high capacity magazine ban. IT created a waiting period.

Fourth, the second amendment doesn't state anything about automatic, semiautomatic, gun types or anything else. It only states that you can have guns. So restrictions are not violations and you cannot point to anything in the constitution that states otherwise.

And lastly, and this is my favorite, the Brady Bill had nothing to do with assault rifle bans. The Brady Bill mandated background checks and a waiting period. The aptly named Federal Assault Rifle Ban is the bill that banned them. A bill that was challenged multiple times and held up in court ever single time by the US court systems. And with all the challenges that came to the courts, no lawyer or group (including the NRA) tried to argue it violated the second amendment because it so clearly didn't.


So with all that thinking and typing you did you are lying about Dems taking your guns. At no point in American history have Americans not been allowed to have guns.
