Even the longest journey starts with a single step. ;)

Biden intends to start by banning scary looking semi-auto rifles and all "high capacity" magazines. Once it has been established (passes constitutional challenge) that a type of gun (or gun accessory/feature) may be banned nationwide then it is only a matter of expanding that list.

He didn't. Not at all. Nowhere in the constitution does it guarantee the right fully automatic assault rifles. Now you can honestly make the claim that Biden wants to take some guns, but that doesn't have anything to do with the 2nd amendment.

Did making homosexuality no longer a crime eventually make bestiality and pedophilia acceptable?

You can pretend all you'd like, but your paranoid delusions are just that of one leads to another is just that. In fact assault rifles have in been banned in the US before. Did it lead to a full gun ban? Did democrats ban all guns when they had a super majority? Can you point to a single time in history when your fears came true?

Your (bolded above) analogy is ridiculous - relaxing the law (increasing individual freedom) is not even in the same ballpark as tightening the law (reducing individual freedom).

The previous "assault weapon ban" law had a sunset date and applied only to future new gun sales - it did not take anyone's current guns or make them illegal to own/possess.
