Might as well get used to the guy. He's gonna do the full 8. The pendulum is always swinging though. Those who forget the past are doomed to repeat it.

The GOP needs someone the people can get behind. Right now, it's in such a disarray it will take a miracle for them to even get on the same page with themselves much less the moderates and independants that actually decide. I'm sure they will get back in eventually. As I said, the pendulum always swings. But I don't think, miracles notwithstanding, it will happen before the next presidential election cycle.

I keep telling everyone that the only reason why most Americans so strongly disapprove of Socialism-like-support and so on is because we weren't born into and it wasn't ingrained in us as a value. Thus, it goes against what we believe in.

But no one's listening to me these days.

You're correct and I thank God I was born in a country where I am free.I thank God for our military who fight to keep us free. It's too bad our freedoms are being eroded away from inside our own borders and directly from the WH.

Funny thing...at the 2:20 mark its talking about the economic downfall.....and the graph shows high productivity until 2000 when...hmmmmm...who took over....and then 8 straight years of negatives on economic growth.

Care to explain that graph in your right-wing propoganda Navy? How does that support your premise here?

Well, believe it or not - like it or not. The full effect of Congress' and the President's actions are often delayed. The effects (good or bad) aren't always felt *immediately* - it takes time for things to fully evolve and effect every other aspect of the economy.

By the point a bad decision has it's full disasterous consequences a new president is in office - to take the blame.

The Healthcare Bill, for example, will be pulling in a surplus - which will be a good thing for a while (for the government's spending spree). But over the next 20 years, as more people *use* their benefits and their input remains stagnant it will begin to require that the *government* pay money back into it - it will be in deficit.

Who will be president in 20/30 years? *That President* will get the bad rap.
