I am not a conservative by most standards. And of course I didn't do it entirely on my own. I never said that we should stop helping each other. I said we should stop helping the losers that refuse to help themselves. We should never stop helping each other progress but we should stop helping the parasites. As for me being "ignorant" I can assure you that I'm one of the most highly educated people on the forum. I am always learning and going to school. You have to be educated as much as possible to ensure you are not to become one of them. Learning new skills and amassing libraries of knowledge is one of my hobbies. I have a broad range of knowledge and while I'm an expert on only a few things I know at least a little bit about just about everything. So I'm sorry your accusation of ignorance doesn't apply here. I fully understand the situation. And as for survival of the fittest being for a "group" of humans, well what about that group that leech's off your tax dollars and the pity of others? Yes it has lead us here. But now we stifle it. We try and control natural selection. Humans have such a control complex. We feel bad if we let a person go hungry or homeless and we could've "saved" them. The best thing we could do for these people is make them do for themselves. Its like the old saying goes, "Give a man a fish and he can eat for a day. Teach a man to fish and he can eat for a lifetime." Why can't we make people help themselves. If they refuse to do so they should be allowed to get whatever the world throws at them. I would much rather the government take the money they spend on welfare and give it to people to go to school or learn something. We are falling behind. We are destroying ourselves.
