This may not be the bombshell/smoking gun/Nixon tapes the Republicans had been hoping for, but it is another brick in the wall...or rather one removed from the wall. Today's politics rarely rotate around one issue. The complexities are immense, but in the day and age of Gruberized low information voters, the idea is throw enough **** against the wall and eventually the wall is no more.

Hillary's star is fading. She is older than Reagan when he ran in 1980, her appeal is limited and her high status is based on name recognition alone. Asked to list three of her "accomplishments" I suspect most Americans would be hard pressed to answer correctly. She has been the wife of a notoriously philandering husband/president/liar who has justified his dalliances. She has been a voting dog senator from one of the most safe seats in the country, and a yes-person secretary of state who botched Libya, where now there is ISIS where there was none before.

She has eagerly supported Obamacare, and the president's so-called foreign policy where a stable Europe is now at the brink of war, Israel is now an enemy of the US, and here are seven wars where she had inherited two.

She has no new ideas, no platform other than the Clinton name and war chest, with little possibility of attracting black or youth voters who have abandoned the "hope and change" party.

Just another brick, a big one, but a brick.

The real down side is that with all these expose's of corruption coming out, she may well decide not to run, which would not help Republican chances. They need her to run now......with the right handling she will be the Democrats "Sarah Palin"....."I can see Saudi Arabia from my 747...."

I think it depends how how long she waits before deciding not to run. If she keeps stringing the Democrats along...keeps them hoping she's going to run...when she DOES decline to run the Party will have that much harder of a time coming up with a replacement. Heck, my guess is that a huge majority of her Party are not even aware that she might not run...they already assume she will and they think she'll be the next President...hands down. It'll be a massive shock to those people when they find out everything's changed.

That can only HELP the Republicans.

Anyone who read the paper that day knew Ansar al-Sharia took responsibility. "Claiming responsibility" does not affirm immediately anything. That doesn't mean they had it all figured out who did it -- especially as what was happening at another embassy, and the whole news worldwide was of that stupid video inflaming Muslims in Egypt. Especially as it subsequently erupted all over the world that week.

There's no AHA here, any more than the 14,000 other times you cons thought you had something.

The old carcass of Benghazi!!! has been investigated and beaten to death.

Oh yes, if they are capable of snaring the opportunity. As a political observer the last 25 years, it amazes me how the GOP surrenders the narrative. The list is so long...but Romney's managers were the worst. The cowled when the "47% tape " came out, instead of attacking the integrity of the Jimmy Carter drunk relative who cheated and lied his way in. They do not like to get their hands dirty when they need to have them covered in blood.

But if they can play to the "coronation era" where not only has the party been claiming victory already, but she has been acting as though she is the heir designate with her greatest claim being how many miles she has flown and a creepy story about snipers. They have to expose that arrogance.

But again, I want her to win the nomination. THAT can only help the Republicans at a time when America having been promised change, is not likely to vote for the team that failed to deliver it. And that should be the war cry...they failed to deliver and then the long, long list "they" failed to do

Heya MC. :2wave: Well the WSJ did a good job in busting her out with getting a Saud Contribution in as recent as last year, 2014. Then they tried to say all donations were listed down on their Website.

Until the WSJ found out about the Saud one that wasn't listed.....that is.

So now we have to CONFIRM that the group who claimed responsibility is actually responsible before even hinting that terrorism was involved!

It was investigated by republicans and democrats alike to death.

There is no there there.

Please post any citations you may have indicating a majority of "you people" did not care Americans were being killed as they pushed back the Taliban under Bush. Please explain this sentiment in light of the fact the US under Bush had an operating coalition of allies who were losing their sons and daughters in that war as well, and how it is under Obama they are losing ground and you have no allies there anymore.

The CIA has pushed back through leaks of its own against that allegation. These documents establish that State certainly knew enough to question any suggestion that it was just a riot run amok, if not discard it immediately. However, the “spontaneous demonstration” certainly looked better a few weeks ahead of a presidential election that admitting that Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton had not provided enough security for a diplomatic outpost in Libya after their campaign to decapitate the Qaddafi regime, and that the administration had not thought to ensure that a military response could be made on the anniversary of the 9/11 attacks......snip~

But you can convince enough of the public that you are still the lesser of two evils and simply got fooled by someone else - see Solyndra, VA, GSA, IRS and fast & fuzzy "scandals". There is no such thing as individual accountability in the maze of the federal "chain of command" - the buck never stops, it just gets diverted.

Then please post example of the Guardian newspaper that day saying anything at all about a spontaneous demonstration beyond the absurd White House claims. Please include Canada's Globe and Mail and the Vancouver sun, along with the leading newspapers of Germany and Spain.

If your claim that every newspaper was claiming the responsibility lay with a spontaneous demonstration, then one search should provide the proof that you are not lying.

Those hundreds of hours should pay out easily
