I saw someone claim this so I had to double check and it was true. It’s almost overwhelmingly depressing how ****ed the situation is. Especially since it is functionally impossible to evacuate from the bombing areas as the Israeli border is completely closed and the Egyptian border functionally is. The IDF has my complete and unequivocal support at wiping Hamas off the map. Personally I don’t see Hamas as that different from ISIS.

But cutting off all food/water/power is just disgusting. What limited hospitals they have will lose many patients. What limited food/water there is mostly likely is hoarded by Hamas. I knew the response would be severe after I saw videos of Hamas gunning down civilians but this is just horrific. By the end of this likely thousands of those 0-14 year olds will die either from bombs, starvations, dehydration, or lack of medical care.

People in Gaza don’t live very long. Not surprising to see this fact.

Typo’d my title, it’s actually 44.1% 💀

I expected it to be a pretty young population. I was shocked to see nearly ****ing HALF the population was younger than 15…..

Their main hospital is already nonfunctional.

That demographic breakdown is insane. Wow.

This situation is such a mess. So much hate for so many generations now.

I agree with this statement. I had collected some thoughts on the matter earlier that made me come to an impasse.

The 2nd Intifada drove Israel into the arms of the far right. It was horrific. And it was a failure. The fallout from it has made resistance through non violent means nigh impossible, since Israel will shoot protestors with impunity. But, that doesn’t mean that Hamas has any answers either. Since their opposition to Israel is just as problematic as the Israeli apartheid. They don’t believe in civil rights. And if they accomplish their goal, which is the destruction of Israel, their government would be even worse.

In short, the Palestinians should still look to Mandela and Gandhi for inspiration, although they have a difficult path ahead, since Israel will just murder them with impunity.

Ehhhhhhhhh….maybe not the Gandhi part (he was actually a monstrous person) but at this point in time I agree a Mandela strategy would probably but optimal. Unfortunately it’s not like Palestinians, just an entire ethnic group, aren’t an organization capable of making decisions and these things happen socially. Maybe they will be more openly hostile to Hamas going forward which could help I guess but….

I’m not sure there is going to be many Palestinians alive in the Gaza Strip a few years from now anyway so…

What, are they breeding over there?

Saudia Arabia also has a extremely young population, about 50% of its country is under 25. But younger than 15 is substantially younger than even Saudi Arabia's, and obviously due to the circumstances in Gaza.

What kind of awful person refers to human beings this way?
What? 700 dead, holocaust last century, and I'm the awful person for pointing out the truth?

You're all led poisoned, polluted, fed hormones and meat, and you want to have a baby?

Sackcloth and ashes for you all.

Mandela was involved in armed resistance to apartheid himself as a young man, so even he wouldn’t qualify under your example.

Once you start thinking about human beings like animals, you've started down the path to your own holocaust.

What if I think about animals as human beings?

What's a few million more, just open up a few more slaughterhouses (to feed them).

The biggest killer like in most wars will be disease.

So cliche', I don't think about them as animals, that's how I talk about them.

A little ridicule, of course the above post puts it into perspective.

It's the Palestinians fault that they feel inferior to Israel.

Actually, they are brothers, and even Abraham would have been Arab.

They should become Jew.

Jew is open to all, what is the matter with Jew?

The planet is Jew.

Nothing you can do about it, we all have Jewish ancestry, the ten tribes moved to Europe and America, we're contaminated, it's too late.

Usually tied with starvation. Malnutrition means you are more likely to succumb to disease.

Just an FYI, we are animals.
So I assume you perceive no moral difference between murdering a child and buying chicken nuggets at McDonald's, eh?

Well it sucks the adults in their life hate Jews more then they love the kids. Life’s going to get very hard for all of them. But let’s be clear, the Palestinians can’t hide behind this. Lotsa German kids died in ww2
