There was no deflecting on my part. The right is rewriting history just as you are now. Trump rode Obama's economic success early then tanked the economy because he thought fighting against science was the path to take during pandemic. Had he not invited his idiot base to be so anti everything, then he'd have had better economic success. But alas... He didn't and the stupid followed him.

Hey at least this guy realizes the green new deal is just a proposal, I've seen lots of comments from idiots blaming gas prices on the green new deal despite it, you know, not actually existing.

Is Cuba counted among the industrialized democracies I mentioned? Think Canada for America's nearest comparison. Or Australia or France or Japan. These places are all more 'socialist' but also in considerably better shape than the US.

Her tax comment had to do with tax credits. Maybe you share her economic brilliance.

Deflecting from the topic - absolutely.

And it's not 'the right' that's attempting to rewrite history. Obama's economic 'success' was one of the longest periods of recovery in history, and a recovery that occurred despite his effort. Trump wasn't responsible for the worldwide impact of Covid-19 - but did play a major role in pushing for the vaccine and getting it distributed.

The report indicates that self-reported financial well-being reached its highest level since the SHED began in 2013. In the fourth quarter of 2021, 78 percent of adults reported either doing okay or living comfortably financially. Financial well-being also increased among all the racial and ethnic groups measured in the survey, with a particularly large increase among Hispanic adults. Parents were one group who reported large gains in financial well-being with three-fourths saying they were doing at least okay financially, up 8 percentage points from 2020.
