anyone that was paying attention (since the 80s) knew that hell is specifically for humans like Trump. that Southern and Midwestern men followed that crook and morally corrupt child is on them.

Yup, they gave up.

The Donald is just going to do his 'road show' for 8 more days and that's pretty much the last adulation he'll ever see. He's milking it for all it's worth, not giving a damn about lives endangered, or the entire country.

He wont gain anything from pandering to everyone else now...he's praying he has enough followers to win it...but he doesnt. Not only that, his accusations against Dems voting illegally and vilifying the voting system only drove people to be more observant and more people to come out and vote and to vote early....

He screwed himself, in more ways than one...and he'll probably humiliate himself further when the results come in on that Tues...but it wont matter.

He completely failed this country, most visibly on this viral crisis.

What makes them different?

They have 515 people/sq km, the US has 35/sq km. With a much higher density, you would expect the problem to be worse, but it is much better there.

Ice Land, Canada, NZ, Taiwan, SK and other countries, with different populations, different population densities, different cultures, achieved similar results utilizing the same methodology, masks, contact tracing, quarantining positives and close contacts, and lots of testing. So, your notion these methods lose efficacy on the basis of “every country is different” isn’t supported by the facts.

The “every country is different” is untenable as a refutation the methods by those countries cannot work here, as those countries are different from each other and achieved similar results.

Strawman much? This isn’t what’s been done. Those countries are referenced as examples of how the U.S. can mirror their approach to reduce the spread of the virus and reduce deaths. The methods some of those nations implemented came straight from the CDC! SK borrowed from the CDC to model and shape its response.

Your reply to borrowing their methods has been the vacuous and facile retort of those countries are different. What’s puzzling, however, is how any of those differences matter when they are calculated to address the features of a respiratory virus and aren’t dependent upon the differences you invoke. Hell, the countries utilizing those same methods and achieving similar results are different from each other and yet the methods worked. There’s no rational rhyme or reason to your empty retort the countries are different so the methods will not work.

Trump and his administration is on level 10 for believing the government couldn’t control the pandemic since SK, Ice Land, Canada, NZ, Taiwan, and Japan have “controlled” the virus, where control is they have substantially fewer cases and deaths.
