Trix are you beginning to feel like you’re back in school? Do your homework and hand it in. Then wait for the teacher to grade it. Good luck.

Chapter 31: The Poor People's Campaign

We have moved into an era where we are called upon to raise certain basic questions about the whole society. We are still called upon to give aid to the beggar who finds himself in misery and agony on life's highway. But one day, we must ask the question of whether an edifice which produces beggars must not be restructured and refurbished. That is where we are now......

National Labor Relations Act of 1935 - Wikipedia
The National Labor Relations Act of 1935 (also known as the Wagner Act) is a foundational statute of United States labor law which guarantees the right of private sector employees to organize into trade unions, engage in collective bargaining, and take collective action such as strikes. Central to the act was a ban on company unions.[1] The act was written by Senator Robert F. Wagner, passed by the 74th United States Congress, and signed into law by President Franklin D. Roosevelt.

The National Labor Relations Act seeks to correct the "inequality of bargaining power" between employers and employees by promoting collective bargaining between trade unions and employers. The law established the National Labor Relations Board to prosecute violations of labor law and to oversee the process by which employees decide whether to be represented by a labor organization. It also established various rules concerning collective bargaining and defined a series of banned unfair labor practices, including interference with the formation or organization of labor unions by employers. The act does not apply to certain workers, including supervisors, agricultural employees, domestic workers, government employees, and independent contractors.

The NLRA was strongly opposed by conservatives and members of the Republican Party, but it was upheld in the Supreme Court case of NLRB v. Jones & Laughlin Steel Corp. The 1947 Taft–Hartley Act amended the NLRA, establishing a series of unfair labor practices for unions and granting states the power to pass right-to-work laws.

David Koch - Wikipedia
......
Koch opposed several of President Barack Obama's policies. An article from the Weekly Standard, detailing the "left's obsession" with the Koch brothers, quotes Koch stating that Obama is "the most radical president we've ever had as a nation ... and has done more damage to the free enterprise system and long-term prosperity than any president we've ever had."[35] Koch said that Obama's father's economic socialism, practiced in Kenya, explains why Obama has "sort of antibusiness and anti-free enterprise" influences.[18] Koch said that Obama is "scary", a "hardcore socialist" who is "marvelous at pretending to be something other than that."[36] Koch contributed almost entirely to Republican candidates in 2012.[37]....

Trump appointees Wolf and Cuccinelli also directed officials to modify intelligence assessments to match the president’s misleading comments about the left-wing Antifa and “anarchist” groups, the complaint states, according to CNN.

In addition, Murphy alleged that former DHS Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen and her deputies pushed him to inflate the number of migrants detained at the southwest border with terrorism ties, and that she used an exaggerated number while testifying before Congress.

Murphy was principal deputy under secretary in the Office of Intelligence and Analysis but in August was demoted to assistant to the deputy under secretary for DHS Management, and claims it was retaliatory. ....

You mean we have domestic terrorists and the feds are doing nothing? It can't be. No way.
That was pure sarcasm and my way of showing that Americans are pussified cowards who can be terrorized by a tiny band of determined thugs.

Fascism is a far-right movement characterized by extreme nationalism, opposition to communism, and the demonization of religious and ethnic minorities. For example, the Klan - Fascists. White nationalists - again fascists. Of course, there is such a thing as far-left authoritarianism, but it's not fascism, it is a different form of authoritarianism.

For example, the Nazis were fascists. The Red Guards (which are more analogous to the extremes of the far left) were not fascist but obviously were authoritarian. Words have meaning.

Fascism was literally a spin-off of socialism. The real main difference is socialism tends to lean towards globalism and fascism leans towards nationalism. Fascism is a mixture of left and right ideology. Economically it is left.

Fascism - Wikipedia

Fascism (/ˈfæʃɪzəm/) is a form of far-right, authoritarian ultranationalism[SUP][1][/SUP][SUP][2][/SUP] characterized by dictatorial power, forcible suppression of opposition, as well as strong regimentation of society and of the economy[SUP][3][/SUP] which came to prominence in early 20th-century Europe.[SUP][4][/SUP] The first fascist movements emerged in Italy during World War I, before spreading to other European countries.[SUP][4][/SUP] Opposed to liberalism, Marxism, and anarchism, fascism is placed on the far right within the traditional left–right spectrum.[SUP][4][/SUP][SUP][5][/SUP][SUP][6] ....

Fascists believe that liberal democracy is obsolete and regard the complete mobilization of society under a totalitarianone-party state as necessary to prepare a nation for armed conflict and to respond effectively to economic difficulties.[SUP][9][/SUP] Such a state is led by a strong leader—such as a dictator and a martial government composed of the members of the governing fascist party—to forge national unity and maintain a stable and orderly society.[SUP][9][/SUP] Fascism rejects assertions that violence is automatically negative in nature and views political violence, war, and imperialism as means that can achieve national rejuvenation.[SUP][10][/SUP][SUP][11][/SUP] Fascists advocate a mixed economy, with the principal goal of achieving autarky [SUP][12] ....[/SUP]

[h=2]"Far-left fascism"[/h]Now that President Trump has declared that the US is under siege from "far-left fascism", we should be prepared for a brand-new round of edit requests seeking to remove the description of fascism as a right-wing ideology. We should remind drive-by editors who make these requests that Wikipedia follows what WP:reliable sources say, and that no reliable source, either academic or from the media, describes fascism as left-wing. Politicians say many things in the course of their attempts to be elected or re-elected, and their statements are not considered to be reliable sources of information. It is a form of right-wing authoritarianism. Authoritarianism by its very nature results in significant government intervention into the economy regardless of whether it is right or left. This whole historical revisionism by some of the American right trying to argue that Fascism is not right-wing is as dumb as the left trying to argue that true Marxism has never been really tried.

Trump’s continued success is entirely depended upon him doing his best to keep his promises. He got elected based not on his character but because of the promises he made. How do you vote?

Oh, and here I was led to believe that you were really interested and up to having an intellectual discussion about MLK, and putting into your own words the context of King's message.

Why don't you go ask your buddy Trump and Republicans who say it is in the best interest for black people to vote Trump.

People who act that way are just trashy. It's free speech and nobody has to go along in that way. If you don't want free speech then we should stop those BLM from the protest and the harassment. Of course I've sad a long time, Democrats (and their extreme left, anarchist, socialist, communist) don't want free speech, they hate America and are only using the politics to achieve the ruination of America. Look it up, Communist Goals for America 1963. They are about half way through the list. Country going to hell while good folks watch.

The country is going to hell with all of you following Donald Trump through the sewer pipes. Maybe you should come up for air and see what's really going on.

Anytime a link is offered I usually will check it out. But Trix made a simple request that you could have honored. Instead you chose to give her (and me) a reading assignment. I don’t blame you. It was a nice dodge but at least admit it.

I’m sure most here heard about protesters at restaurants demanding people raise their fists in solidarity and confronting the few that wouldn't. There’s some video here if haven’t seen it.

BLM activists brand anyone who won’t raise their fist in protest ‘white supremacists''' as they surround diners

If you were at one of these restaurants at that time, do you think would you have complied?

Anytime someone demands I do something, whether I want to do it, or even was about to do it, I tend to not do it. For instance my fist could have been made and in progress of moving up and they start that I would have either put my fist down or turned it into a middle finger. And I support BLM.

what maturity!!!!!!!!!!!

You realize a secure person does not feel resentment at being asked to do something?
