The poll would be of interest if it separated the homosexual responses and heterosexual responses.

Third option for me. At one point in time back when I thought me liking guys was wrong I would have changed my sexuality but now I wouldnt.

Perhaps there is someone who see it greener on the other side? I don't know?

I certainly would not be interested in changing my sexuality. I quite enjoy being gay. Obviously, I have no experience in the opposite sex (nor have I ever wanted to seek that experience), but going from the advice that I have doled out to my straight guy and girl friends and my own experiences in return, it seems to me that the dynamics of gay relationships are a heck of a lot easier to understand and handle. There is no gender gap to bridge, no stereotypes or preconceived "rules" of dating, and I generally run on the same wavelength as the guys I have dated. Plus, no hair in the drain.
 
As a teenager, definitely; as an adult, I don't see the point.
 
I'm heterosexual and am happy with who I am. But being bi-sexual seems like it would be a positive in my book. Being able to be attracted to twice as many people. I admire that ability in bi-sexuals. I think it would make life a bit more interesting.

Not a chance, both for religious and logical reasons. Correctness in sexuality should be as obvious as why you don't try sticking the plug of a lamp into another plug, but rather into an outlet.

I don't think that's a good analogy. Unlike sticking a lamp into a plug, homosexuality actually has purpose. There are plenty of reasons why people do it, but none for sticking a lamp plug into another. You can make arguments about whether or not doing so is right or wrong or whether the reasons people engage in it are immoral, but it is a complex issue.

I don't think the claim that its as obviously wrong as doing something purposeless is justified.
 

It's fine if you don't like the analogy. I can also say it's illogical from simple reverse-engineering of the human body. The reproductive system is for precisely what the name indicates.

And I still think you'd have to get into a pretty complex discussion to prove your point that this is only what its for, and that it should only be used for that purpose. I don't think the issue should be dismissed out of hand as obvious.
 
You know, I've sometimes imagined it might be nice to be a lesbian.

1. I wouldn't have needed to worry about get fixed. Obviously.

2. I wouldn't deal with a bunch of screwed up gender stupidity. To be fair, I don't see much of this in my actual relationships; I avoid men with stupid gender views. But I still get it from the world around me, and it seems like everyone pretty much just backs off of lesbians in that respect.

3. I would fight for gay rights regardless, but it would have precious little affect on my life as someone who doesn't wish to be married and is also childfree, so no downside there for me.

I enjoy my relationships, and I wouldn't say I feel a desire to change my sexuality. But lesbianism has its perks.

Would I change it if given the opportunity? Given my present smitten circumstances, I'd have to say no. If I were single? Eh, I don't know. Maybe.

I don't feel attached my orientation one way or the other, honestly.

"Correctness" is nothing but an opinion.

In answer to the OP's question, no, I am quite happy with my sexuality.
 
I like who I am and I am comfortable in my own skin. The only thing I would change is maybe my weight, lol.
