Yes, and we can thank trump for that.
I honestly think it will be a landslide for Biden/Harris, but I wasn't sure I had as much optimism about Harris raising Obama levels of excitement.
:doh :boomIt's a historic pick. It will motivate the minority and progressive vote like no one has ever seen before.
:applaudYou think it'll motivate people more than Obama motivated them in 2008?
Way to descend to that level.Nice racist, slut-shaming post. You've outdone yourself!
Find me some group that is against Trump now that was not in 2016. It's not hard to find the opposite.I honestly think it will be a landslide for Biden/Harris, but I wasn't sure I had as much optimism about Harris raising Obama levels of excitement.
Unsure I really like the choice, but at this point Biden could have picked a puppy dog as his running mate and still probably win.

It's a brilliant pick. A mixed race, moderate/progressive ticket running against two old, corrupt, racist, morons? Just the optics are a winner!

Do you realize how racist this post is?
We should vote for Biden because Harris isn't white? The optics are better?
There's nothing progressive about anarchy, socialism, and atheistic chaos.
Biden has made it official. His running mate will be Kamala Harris, unless she withdraws or gets "cancelled".
Do you think this pick will help him, hurt him, or make no difference in the electoral college?
Traditionally, Vice Presidents make no difference in the Electoral College. Some argue it'll make a big difference, seeing as how Biden will be 78 years old soon. If elected, he would be the oldest President of the all-time, beating Reagan's 77.
HELP - He's going to motivate black voters in the swing states and help beat Donald Trump.
HURT - Voters will be turned away, by her record as California Attorney General and/or so-called personality problems.
NO DIFFERENCE - It will not make a single difference.

The opposition is static but Trump's camp has grown and they are angry about all the abuse.

Lemme guess... you white, eh?
So what does this make you?
First page of this thread and you are whining about her affair.
biden and the DNC are trying to give back the white house with such a stupid, stupid selection
yes, some black voters who otherwise would have sat home will show up at the polls
but lots of other voters will be turned off by harris and will not show up
some independents may now get swayed to vote for tRump because of biden's VP choice
the RNC must have massive amounts of opposition research on harris. this was the VP selection they were hoping for
Tammy Duckworth was unassailable
Susan Rice is brilliant
so, that dope, biden had to make the weakest of all candidates his choice
if the RNC brightens up and runs Condi Rice instead of tRump, my vote will be with the republicans

Actually Harris is a pretty strong choice.
But the main problem with this is Biden is picking her just because she's female and she's non-white. That's all there is to it and nobody can deny this fact.
You're right. People aren't always treated fairly because of things like gender, skin color, and appearance overall.
That's wrong on all levels, but trying to make up for the inequality by favoring females and people of color isn't a good solution, especially when it purposely discriminates against white males.
There's really a very logical, sensible, and rather easy solution.
Hire a person based on qualifications, skills, intelligence, background, and what meaningful contributions he or she will bring forth. Forget about gender, race, skin color, national origin, sexual preference, or physical attractiveness.
Let's just face the facts. Biden clearly said he wanted a woman for VP. That alone discriminates against men. He purposely chose a woman and a person of color. You can't expect to make up for past inequalities within a certain gender or race by being discriminatory toward another gender or race.
She is like a brainless pit bull who allowed innocent convicted people to languish in prison (and she knew it) because of her Brady violations when she was CA Attorney General.
She is the main reason for so many black men in prison in California.
She should be ashamed of herself.
Certainly not VP material, let alone presidential material (God forbid).
She will thankfully hurt Biden because of her mouth.

Probably right!
Biden it always seemed to me has repeatedly gone after the sympathy vote for obvious reasons
but this selection settles it. Kamala Harris with that sickening chalk on the blackboard nasal voice,
and a laugh as distinctively repulsive as Hillary Clintons will give those sympathetic Biden hopefuls
more reason to pull the Biden lever in November & there are a lot of those voters who feel sorry for Joe.
Having one more 'cross to bare' picking Kamala may just be Joe's ticket to the White House considering
the unique way some people determine their choice for POTUS.
I would have preferred someone else. She comes off as a bitch.I agree with what is mostly said here. But jeepers, roguenuke.... do you not think it's high time there is better representation for women and people of colour? It's 2020... we need to get with the program. Old white men have dominated politics for too long -- and no one is going to convince me that it's because all were the better candidates.
All indications are that Trump has lost support from both moderates and even some Republicans. On top of that, many Deomcrats are more fired up about simply getting him out of office since he has indicated more than once he is very anti-Dem.:doh :boom
