Kenyans circa 2011 laughed at Americans for believing Obama was born in Kenya. They knew his father, where his father was born. And they knew Obama wasn't born there. They were proud of Obama as a son of Kenya. But they couldn't understand why someone thought he was born there. They were, "we would know what hospital, like we do his father".

All I could do was laugh and assure them I wasn't one of those Americans. And that I, too, saw Obama as a son of Kenya. But not in the stupid-American way.

A couple years ago (not much more than that, if), I had someone tell me:

"Around the time Obama was born, Hawaii was really hurting for population. Hawaii was so desperate for population, the local government recruited people from around the world and faked birth certificates for them. It was just a matter of necessity, since their population was so low. So we'll never know if Obama's certificate is real."

I presumably needn't say this, but there was no population problem and the proposed/claimed solution is absurd.


I done heard it. And it sapped my faith in humanity.

He compared immigrants to poisonous snakes, lied about refugees, spread patently false info on black on white crime, insulted our allies, sold out the Kurds, praised dictators, suggests our military commit war crimes, the partisan list goes on.

So...why was that? Obviously it had nothing to do with politics or partisanship....but only his character.
 
President Trump is SOOO hated by many people because those "many people" know in their hearts that many of his policies are right, but those "many people" simply cannot admit that fact to themselves.

Many people are so invested in their politically correct assumptions that (quite understandably), they become incensed when someone makes them question their lifelong devotion to those woke assumptions.
 
Other: He is a target that is very easy to hate.
His lack of decorum makes him distasteful to a lot of reasonable people, even those who would agree with his policies.
Then again, he plays to win. If that necessitates getting everyone muddy and making an ass of himself, then it is a question of whether means or ends are more important. The alternative would be someone like Bush Jr., who tried to play nice with the press, and ended up losing the media war big-time.

As a Republican candidate, Trump was going to get smeared no matter what, so I can see the value of a strategy predicated upon destroying the image of the press, even if it means destroying his own in the process. It is the equivalent of sacrificing a bishop you were going to lose anyway, in order to take a queen.
 
He'd be hated anyway, but the "so hated" comes into play because he beat Hillary. A woman was "supposed" to be the next president. If you're a believer in that, then Trump's election was a hard smack right in the face. I'd be angry at the person who smacked me too.

Radical godless leftists slander Trump for:

1. Comparing murderous Mexican gang member thugs to vermin.
2. Saying things about the illegality of border crossings by immigrants in violation of US law which democrats do not obey and do not want enforced.
3. Talking about the problem of black crime which offends blacks.
4. Saying disrespectful things about friends and foes who take stands against God Bless America and American patriotism.
5. Authorizing the pull out of 26 soldiers who were in harm's way in Turkey.
6. Making efforts to establish world peace by making overtures to bad leaders as well as good.
7. OKs the use of military force which pansy leftists think are warlike and evil.
8. And so forth.

Thank God for leaders like Trump who do what it takes to bring peace and prosperity to the US and other nations in spite of opposition from those with wrong ideas.

I would also add that Trump violates the basic rules that every person learns as they become an adult - don't brag about yourself....... don't lie .... don't make everything about you ..... be humble ...... don't take credit for the work of others ...... be generous ....... he simply is a public embarrassment.

I think it has a bit to do with how opposite his personality is. It’s not just that she was woman and he was a man, but he not very politic, speaks more like a construction worker.

I don't hate Donald Trump.

I simply loathe the reality that he was elected my-our president.

I loathe his policies that I feel and that are proving to be harming my-our nation.

I loathe his nasty tweets, his non stop lying and intentional or unintentional fabricating of "facts".

I loathe his embrace of dictators, like his best bud Putin.

I loathe his intentional destruction of our institutions.

I loathe very much of what he has done and intends to do out of his ignorance or just based on his pettiness.

I don't hate him.

If he would just pack it up and go away, back to his golden tower, or his Marred-A-Lago I would bid him God Bless and safe trip!

However, the answer, IMO, is because people are instructed to hate him.

How many times have the left's propaganda ministries been exposed for lies and distortions? Doesn't matter to those on the left.

How many times have their leaders been proven to be liars? Doesn't matter.

Indoctrination, and years of propaganda, along with threats to agree, or else, leaves the gullible little choice but to hate the President, as instructed.

I think there may be problems in Trump's tax returns, just like there may be problems in the financial transactions of the Clinton Foundation and so many other politicians in Congress. Maybe that is why we have laws protecting the privacy of Americans, including politicians.

I believe Trump is about 3 points ahead of where Obama was in approval rating at this point in his Presidency. Which is amazing considering that Obama had mainstream media fawning over him 24/7 while Trump has them condemning him 24/7.
