The Islamist Taliban joined British critics Friday to denounce Prince Harry ......
So even the Taliban have read Harry's book. :)
And now they are engaging in literature criticism.

More:

The Islamist Taliban joined British critics Friday to denounce Prince Harry for admitting to being responsible for the killing of 25 people in Afghanistan while serving as a military helicopter pilot there.

The British prince made the disclosures in his upcoming memoir, Spare, claiming the army had trained him to view members of the then-insurgent Taliban not “as people” but instead as “chess pieces” to be removed from the board.

Taliban foreign ministry spokesman Abdul Qahar Balkhi slammed Harry’s revelations.

I’m sure it will eventually find its way to Kindle Unlimited or another free venue.

I actually buy very few books, and fewer hard copies of books. This would not be one that I’m interested enough in TO buy.

I’d read it if it was given to me. But I’m a voracious reader.

Yeah, it really needs to be something I'm invested in book-wise, like Star Wars, or something of the like.

I don't tend to actually buy many books. Typically the ones I do buy are written by up-and-coming authors I'm following/know and I will buy the book merely to support them.

Otherwise, there are plenty of free books - digital or at libraries.

It seems half the world is talking about THAT book.

Even China it is talked about.
Even the Taliban in Afgjanistan talk about it.

So we may also talk about it.
It has become a political issue.

Now if the Taliban is talking about it.... it may be a legitimate news item :)

I won't be buying the book, but I am team Harry all the way.

It amazes me that people are defending the Royal family on this.

I do wonder how many people who deny any interest in this book will then stand in lines in front of London bookshops tomorrow or even camp all night in front of the still closed bookshop doors. I hope we will be told tomorrow then.

If I see a copy at the public library I might read it. I won't be buying it.

I won’t buy it or read it because I’m not interested. To each their own, though.

Tomorrow the book will be on sale.
I wonder whether the first lines are already forming now at the fronts of London bookshops ....

I saw it coming! :)

Bookshops open at midnight for rush to purchase Prince Harry’s Spare after string of incendiary interviews

Selling Harry's book will start at midnight!

At a ghostly hour.

As I said elsewhere:
What's happening here?
A member of a royal familiy gets millions and mllions for betraying and attacking his own family.
Isn't it a bit like this: In times of war a citizen of one country gets millions and millions for selling secrets to an enemy country?

The German news magazine "DER SPIEGEL" has made a play of words about it and created the word "Hofverrat", modelled on the word "Hochverrat".

To explain:

Hochverrat = high treason
Hofverrat then would be: royal court treason

I have no intention of buying or reading the book. It's not the sort of thing that interests me.

Eager readers have flooded bookshops to purchase a copy of Prince Harry’s memoir, Spare, as some stores extended their opening hours on Monday night to cater for the midnight rush.

Pictures showed readers and reporters packing out bookshops in a mad frenzy to collect their copy of the memoir, with many queuing late into the night.

I would not queue for it.
But British people often enjoy queuing for its own sake.

I won't buy it. I won't read it. It's disgusting how Harry is behaving. **** him.
