OK its time to tell us who your voting for this year..........I am not listing any fringe candidates Like Paul or Barr because they have zero chance to win......

Ron Paul, I refuse to "pick the lesser of two evils" and further the problems that we have in this country.

I'd like one more option, "undecided". Now that a bit of the smoke has cleared, hopefully we'll some better vision of how the country would shape up under the other's leaderships. Economy is going to be a HUGE issue with rising gas prices coupled with offshoring of American jobs. I just hope that the discourse doesn't devolve into side "hot topics" that are less relevant to the majority of Americans.

shuamort! :)

I agree.. .undecided or abstain would be viable options here as well.

Sorry this poll is for people who have decided...........This thing has been going on for a year.......If you haven't made a pick yet your probably never will...........

Nope I thought about that but I did not want the Ron Paul cult dominating the poll......

McCain. For a lot of reasons, and this is just how I feel. I don't believe a democrat needs to be president duing a cultural war. That's what this is, a war between 2 cultures. I know that sounds bad, and I can't really put into words why, but that is just my gut instinct. I feel the country's interests would be protected more with a Republican. I still don't understand what Obama wants to do except change something. Our security and being tough is my main concern, and McCain wouldn't be a pushover in a war, his stuff works and he's strong and we need him. I'm a little worried that if a Democrat wins the Extreme PC people will be all over them and that might lead to another attack happening. We haven't had an attack on our soil since 9/11 and I'd rather it stay that way. I'm apprehensive about letting a Democrat be president at this moment...:/

I'm not saying that Democrats hate America or would purposefully just invite a terrorist over to attack something, I know that's not true at all, I'm just saying that I personally am not comfortable with someone besides a Republican this time.

Obama as the lesser of two evils.

Ron Paul. Sorry I refuse to compromise.

I will never vote for someone I don't want in office, and I want neither of those ****tards in office.

Ron Paul if he's on the ticket in WV. Otherwise, I will abstain.

I strongly believe that Obama will not win, nor do I believe that McCain can do 2 terms, if even 2 years.

Before I decide to write in Rush Limbaugh, I'll first pay close attention to who McCain settles on as his VP, as it is my opinion that that individual will be the one running the country.

Newsflash to those who say Ron Paul. Ron Paul isn't running for president. You can't vote for Ron Paul.

Me, I'm planning on voting for Bob Barr. Barjohn McBama isn't an option to me.

I dislike both McCain and Obama. The only way I would vote for McCain is if he was on the verge of dying of a heart attack and he picked Tom Tancredo, Sam Brownback or Duncan Hunter as his running mate.I do not give a **** if Barr or Paul do not have a chance,I will vote for one of them.Of course I am sure that if history repeats itself the republi-crats/demo-cans will screw the 3rd party candidates by trying to keep their names off the ballot in many states.

Good point..........

I'll be voting for Barack Obama. It's time to change the way we do things in this country as well as outside of it.

Good to see some stalwart conservatives sticking to their guns and refusing to vote for McCain.

Currently, abstaining or possibly voting for Bob Barr. I say abstaining because I will still be heading to vote for other offices at the time, but won't be voting for the presidential ballot.

If McCain can convince me he will actually deliver on those things most important to me, he may get my vote. As it stands, I've been saying that for months now and he's been doing nothing to secure that thought if not actually doing more to hurt it.

Currently undecided. It depends on who Obama picks as his VP, and how he conducts the remainder of his campaign. If he screws up, I may end up writing myself in, again. McCain and I disagree on most issues, so I will not be voting for him.

Obama. Because McCain is a secret Muslim.

Obama. Nobody who has ABBA on their iPod should be elected president.

 The Extreme PC people? I hope you mean something other than Politically Correct people, because if you don't, I fail to see how political correctness leads to suicide bombings. As far as not having any further foreign terrorist attacks on our soil since 9/11, when's the last time we had any before then? We have one attack in 232 years as a nation and all of sudden the entire country erupts into a chorus of "O NOES WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE!" Granted, traveling half way around the world, toppling two countries and threatening others, killing lots of fathers, brothers, and sons, imprisoning others... that's probably raising our terror threat just a little.

Regardless, on the subjects you mention, I prefer Obama for a few reasons. You say McCain "wouldn't be a pushover in a war" and that "his stuff works." I'm not sure what "his stuff" is, but I think the idea that Obama would be a pushover is honestly ridiculous. Forget for the moment that Obama is in favor of a diplomacy first strategy, which would make him an infinitely stronger candidate than John McCain in terms of coalition building and uniting the world behind us were we to become entangled in a war. Also forget that John McCain is a hot head who's more likely to get us into a war in the first place. There is no candidate, short of a committed pacifist (Dennis Kucinich being the only I'm aware of in recent times), who would be a pushover in a war. The primary reason for that being that the president does not run wars, the military does. The president just gives the order to attack.

While I'll grant you that, as a former military man, John McCain might be more familiar with the terms and methods of war than Barack Obama, that only means military commanders might have to do slightly less explaining when it comes to detailing their battle plans. Of course, let's not forget that John McCain's last military experience was almost 30 years ago, and things have changed a little bit since then, especially in terms of technology.

Yosimite Sam, no contest.

I agree with his policies on the 2nd amendment and illegal immigration.

In truth, the last time I ran for President, Underdog was my running mate. I felt that cartoon characters were a very underrepresented segment of society, so I pandered to the animation-vote. Yes, I did write both of our names in. I'm probably on some list somewhere.
