Well i don't believe we could have two so diametrically opposed candidates for president than Trump and Sanders. Shows just how divided our electorate is.

I wonder where those moderates will fit into this scenario if there are only these two choices?

I see them as pretty much the same, populist demagogues. I will not vote for either.

Given those two choices, third party.

I dare you to vote Asuka as a write in candidate!

...I'll probably just vote libertarian.

Asuka wouldn't need votes. She'd just crush her enemies with the overwhelming power of her Eva.

Since there's only 2 choices, I went with Sanders. I also believe Sanders would have an extremely hard time getting his legislative thoughts and actions through Congress. Lots of anti-health care and fair wage laws that would probably not make it into law. What I want and what I'll get remains to be seen...

The moderates and centrists will support Sanders more than Trump.

I wish the poll question was phrased a little differently and not be so tribal. Rather than 'what side are you on', it would have been better to ask 'whose ideology is more aligned with your own'. Certainly republicans will check Trump, but there's a lot of people here that wouldn't agree with the principles of either Trump or Sanders

Sanders has a couple of things going for him. Larry David playing him on SNL would be absolutely hilarious and President Sanders would piss off Hillary to no end.

Bernie Sanders is the model for the solutions to American poor and working families: Three homes and a 2 seat 10 cylinder $150,000 performance car that gets an average of 17 miles per gallon.

If every American had 3 houses and cars that get less than 20 mpg it would solve climate change for certain, though he really needs to also get a mega yacht that uses 5 gallons diesel per mile like DeCaprio if he really is serious about solving global warming. Maybe he can broker his delegates at the convention for a mega yacht.

Sanders won't be the Democratic Party's nominee.

I will vote Green party most likely but if forced to support one or the other I suppose I would pick Trump just because I find democratic supporters in general and Bernie supporters in particular such arses I wouldn't want to be lumped together with them.

Buttigieg or Klobuchar are a better choice.

I think Klobuchar has a better chance of beating Trump. I think she could even appeal to moderate republicans who are tired of Trump's antics.

The money he gets paid by the DNC for playing his part in their primary show will be enough for the yacht. But I think he'll buy a plane that gets around 3 mpg instead. After all, he's getting too old to run for Dem nominations. The cow has run out of milk. He's needs to think about how he'll get from one home to another after he retires.

Green for thee, luxury for me. ;)

How you figure? Sanders is pretty extreme whichever way you view him. Trump is extremely GRATING but I can't think of many positions that he holds that would be considered too far outside the realm of typical Republican thinking.

Nothing moderate about the Butt-man except his demeanor. Elusive pronouncements of little import can make a person appear moderate ... I guess.
And Klobuchar is an empty slate for the ordinary person like me who hasn't looked into her record any deeper.
But that won't last if she continues to rise.
I'll say this, though, she has more & bigger balls than anyone else in that last debate to call negative attention to Socialism.
That's poison to the noisy poobahs who really run her Party right now and that got it into the trouble it's in.

You should vote for the candidate that makes your life better.

We are typically offered a viable ballot choice between a candidate from the party for a bigger federal government or the party for a huge federal government. Heads they win, tails I lose. ;)

Man, QANON feeds you some funny stuff!

Ridiculous proposition. About 1% of delegates have been awarded and only white people (for the most part) have voted. I'm not with Sen. Sanders (although I understand the difference between socialism and democratic socialism), I'm against djt. He wants to be an autocrat, and his reaching down into the DoJ to affect sentencing guidelines continues his attempt.

Not having to see Trump with his clown makeup walking around like he has a potato up his butt would make my life better.

Not necessarily.

I'm a moderate for the most part and I will not vote for someone who supports socialism, and even admits to being a socialist.

20 years ago, Sanders would have been in the green party.
