Socialist
when i read posts about socialism in America and this politician being socialist or that one. I am constantly amazed at how little most of the posters on this forum actually know about the topic. I really think that maybe only 3% have a clue. of those 3% maybe only have of them have a working understanding of socialism.

most of the statements are uneducated and guess work. they relate little of what socialism is. for the sake of everyone maybe some off you would make an effort to try and learn something about the topic before you jump in with both feet calling someone a socialist.

for the sake of debate. please tell me what you actually think it is. Thanks.

we can always use a good laugh.

Whatever the right wing of the US does not like.

Prove me wrong, oh wise one......

you didn't answer anything. maybe if you answered the question there could be a debate on the topic. your one phrase statement shows that you don't have a clue.

you do realize that social programs and true socialism are different. Socialism is not a social program. it seems that most people think this is true. they are wrong. there now maybe you would like to add something from what seems to be your limited base of knowledge.

I stand by my remark.....;)
In descending order, Liberalism, Socialism, Communism......;)

that's great. it doesn't tell me that you know anything about socialism. it tells me that you have an idea of where it may or may not fit into the political scheme of things. it doesn't tell me that you know anything about it.

let's see, here is a point. social programs are set in place to help redistribute a disparity in wealth. that is what the US does many times. i.e. welfare, social security, maybe even your new ideas about health care

within socialism there is no disparity of wealth to create such a need.

let's try something simple like that to get you started.

you still have said nothing to describe or make a point as to what socialism is.

That is a pipe dream right off the bat, & if that is one of the pillars of Socialism, human nature will deny it from coming to fruition.....;)

Why should I sacrifice my potential to uplift lesser beings?.....;)

there is no sacrifice. you become equal. let me ask you this. if you have no house payment, no gas or electric or water payment. if you do not pay for your education or job training and there is no tax how much money do you need to make. if you can live on $200 a week why do you need to get into the greed of more.

than you become a citizen of the world.

you still haven't told me what socialism is. so far i am correct. maybe 3% have a clue. the rest well...

Anything people are against, can be justified, if they just put an "Ism" on the end of it. Vilify the enemy, first.

Human nature doesn't exist.

Maybe I want a big fast boat, a gigatic 4wd & eat steak & lobster on alternating nights....;)
Why should I be held back from my dreams by lesser beings?.....
It's not that I don't get it, I don't want it.....;)

it is also very easy to vilify something you don't understand. that is what i see happening in the US all the time. the masses turn into a pseudo enemy anything that they do not understand.

children in classes in the US are told everyday that the US is the best country and that everything that is done is correct. they do not learn nor study the options. when they grow up they have limited understanding and make statements about other forms, styles and cultures withing life that are wrong or uninformed.

did anyone say that you could not have that. i certainly didn't say that. what i have said is that everyone can have that steak if that is what they want. i

the problem is, is that some people can eat steak and others eat from garbage cans. this is because of the skewed income base. this is what creates welfare states and social programs.

how do your dreams get held back by what you refer to as lesser beings.

maybe by way of education and degrees i could look down my nose at you as a lesser. maybe i make ten times what you make. it does not make you less it makes us equal as human. what we as human should strive to do is make life better for all.

you still have not told me what socialism is. you keep telling me what you want. you may have a handle on capital function but socialism i think think you do.

Yeah, roger that.....

Ok, let me rephrase my statement because you clearly didn't understand it:

Prove that human nature exists.

human nature has and is created within societies everyday. the nature of the person and their wants and needs varies by what they know.

If it is socially constructed then it is not natural and thus not the "nature" of humans.

Good point---People are trained to believe what they are told, and to then defend that belief, no matter what the facts may be---Insecurity does that to people.

If you're not going to contribute anything to the discussion then stop trolling/spamming, please. Your post has been reported.

Tough if you don't like my answers, I happen to believe the U.S. is the greatest country....;)

Ok, define "survival instinct" and prove how it inevitably clashes with socialism.
