should a world power try to make this world a more peaceful place for humans, or should it cause new wars to protect the world countries against so called enemies?

Alot of givens. Who would the enemy be? Paradoxically no power perpetuates itself without enemies in the first place.

World powers should use their economic and military influence to stay world powers and gain more influence. They'll all collapse eventually, and then it will be someone else's turn for awhile.

There shouldn't be world powers. We are all human, it's about time we smarten up from reading history and actually all try and work together. We are all sharing this planet after all. And well, it might be our only hope of survival if we leave this planet and colonize another we have screwed this one over so badly.

Exactly - become the regional hegemon and stay the regional hegemon.

Well: what does a world power mean . . .

A world power is a nation or nations who are dominant in one or more ways which enable them to potentially govern other countries, provide support as they see fit, intervene in many conflicts and people tend to look ot them for guidance or protection.

It could be good or bad for everyone.

Good if the world power(s) are positive and beneficial and fight for rights and give aid and support.
Bad if the world power(s) are negative and corrupt and fight to end rights and deny aid and support.

ı am not against the concept of world power, ottomans were a world power too ,but I want to trust that power .I want that power to bomb the true targets in the world,do I want too much?

True targets of the world? You mean people going insane and trying to attack said world power for domination over their native territories?

A world-power is just a happening. Sometimes it's a big deal due ot the activities of said power - sometimes it's not and said power is just neutral but big. It happened to the US because among the strong countries that had footholds around the world - we were the one who made it out on top and unscathed around the turn of the 20th Century leading into WWI (etc). When those other large powers had ot rebuild - they looked to us to help sort things out and we just happened to be able ot help them as needed.

if a state claims to be world power ,it must try to keep up its power by forming a real democracy in 3rd world countries.,not by creating new maps...

That's an incredibly broad question, but I should point out that those are not necessarily mutually exclusive purposes.

The People's Republic of China is a world power, but it isn't a democracy at all.

But, then again, much of its might as a world power is economic in nature - much of its military might is rather turned inward for security purposes.

in this century, globalization is a kind of way to be a world power, and china doesnt match this definition ,but what I mean is that manyy people dont understand or dont want to understand that there are unworthier regimes in the world but they just deal with horrid kim jong...

China is pretty globalized. It's a major industrial superpower with their factories churning out all sorts of stuff with its cheaper labor. And there are Western franchises in China as well - KFC, for example. Although, to be fair, that's mostly on the coasts of China.

And the reason why the PRC endorses North Korea is because if N.K. reunited with South Korea, there's a chance that the united Korea will affiliate more with the U.S. or Japan rather than the PRC, which is against the PRC's interests.

Which, you know, is a valid point.

but I dont know how to speak chinese.anyway, no state has the right of separating another country..

Regional? A country can be the regional hegemon for centuries. That's no good-- if countries didn't overreach themselves, they'd never collapse and it would never be anyone else's turn. NWO or Bust.

Only way you get to trust the world power is to be the world power.

there must be a world power ,this is against my ideas but it seems it is an obligation in present conjuncture, but that power mustnt try to change the maps of the world

Maps change. Nations grow and shrink and split and die. It's a good thing. Makes room for new growth.

maps dont change on the table,it causes lots of tears in reality..

in fact I criticize the ottomans as well as the others, asia minor was enough for us..

Oh, it's certainly terrible for the people who get caught in the middle. But the world is bigger than just the people.

World Power means just that: World Power. I sometimes feel that the USA should exert this but people think I am c razy:3oops:

If the USA does not do something in reguards to our money, jobs, etc? We will not be able to to be a World Power when we need to. We are hurting right now and the rest of the World that hates us are laughin.:(

Sounds like fun... why not?

Lol and we should burn all the oilfields while we're at it. It should destroy about 1/5 of the world's oil reserves and cause a huge spike in oil prices, forcing people to find environmentally-friendly energy and ultimately making the world an environmentally clean place (excluding the amount of gas caused from the burnings of course).
This will be the first environmentally-friendly war.

Enemies? The only true enemies are human ignorance and imperfection, as Buddha thought.

Should there be a world power... yes, certainly. I dream of a world federation of a millions of city-states (for example, Plato's "ideal state" consist of around 10 000 - 15 000 people), the purpose being to make sure one state doesn't attack others and that everyone lives according to the means that the given territory provides. So, the "super-state" will act as a world judge, securing interstate "contracts" and protecting countries from bullies, and will stay completely away from economics, culture and internal affairs, i.e. leave people alone to develop freely.

:)
