what does a world power mean ?

If the USA does not do something in reguards to our money, jobs, etc? We will not be able to to be a World Power when we need to. We are hurting right now and the rest of the World that hates us are laughin.:(

We are a world power - that's why people hate us and laugh at us.

Our issues to many others that consider us a dominating power are menial - in fact - some from other countries don't understand what we're bitching about because in contrast to their countries issues, we're still on top.
 
aunt spiker,normal people never hate the other people but nobody has to like the policy of states,especially if that policy will separate my country and cause a war in my region.

OK. Will you please have a sit down with Iran, Russia, North Korea, Syria, Yemen, The Taliban, Al Quada and the tens of thousands of terrorists and revolutionaries out there killing people and simply explain to them that we should "all get along"??

Some people have strange ideas about power. It's possible to practice stillness and feel powerful... conquering the world or whatever is required for material world power is just way too complicated, and riddled with attachments. The benefit of this practice is that you begin to see how little control anyone actually has - over anything.
