Bean and potato tacos on corn tortillas from Torchy's Damn Good Tacos.
Plus chips and queso.

:)

It was good to have solid food again. Very steadying.
I've been living on smoothies and ice cream lately.
It's just been too damn hot to eat anything else.

Same here, that's why we had soup, too. CL has a case of flu, complete with a 102 degree fever. I've been desperately trying to keep the crud contained. :doh

Hope you're feeling better soon, Kali. ~hug~

I make a lentil and barley soup in vegetable broth, with gnocchi (potato dumplings).
Very similar, and very soothing.

I will resist having my flu shot just to taste your dumplings soixante, are they plump?

That is a lovely dinner, sans the orange, smothered rice and pasta salad.

And depending on the number of bottles.

This is the tail end of my brisket I cooked for labor day, this started out as a 14lb packer, that I seasoned with my bbq seasonings, and slow smoked for many many hours, until it was done, just right.

Clean em this way.... Spray em with pam, flip em so they are facing the fire, crank your grill to hi for a couple hours, it will burn every thing off... allow to cool flip, spray again with pam, crank em all to high, wait about half an hour, then scrub em with a grill brush....

I've had people tell me that buttering the grill before you start can keep the carbon off. Also wiping the grill with lemon juice before grilling. Any of that worth doing?

Chicken breasts stuffed with feta, sundried tomatoes, scallions, and asparagus tips.

Two bean and cheese burritos. Yuck. :(

Ben & Jerry's Cinnamon Bun ice cream (new flavor).
Holy hell, this stuff's good.
It's vanilla ice cream, with a cinnamon streusel swirl, and little tiny cinnamon rolls in it. Tastes just like Cinnabon. Yum! :)

Well, I like bean and cheese burritos, too.
