'We Were Creating A Story -- Our Focus Was To Get Trump Out': CNN Director Busted By Undercover Veritas Operative

Thanks for confirming what most intelligent people already knew
———

A technical director for CNN made the grave error of sitting down with a (probably hot) undercover female journalist from Project Veritas, to whom he admitted that the network "got Trump out" with their coverage, and that he "100% believe(s) that if it wasn't for CNN, I don't know that Trump would have got voted out."

I don't think that anyone with even the slightest shred of objectivity really needed this video to be convinced that CNN was hell bent on damaging Trump using any and all means necessary.

To me this is just confirmation of what everyone already knows. The problem is that most on the left consider it a job well done.

The first line in your link, 'Project Veritas is an American far-right[37] activist group', immediately makes the submission suspect.

Truth is never ever left or right, it just is. So is the CNN employee telling the truth or isn't he? Seems quite sincere and the reporting of CNN over the past decade or two seems to support the idea. It has little to do with O'Keefe.
Based on O'Keefe's track record, I wouldn't believe him if he said the sun will rise tomorrow.

The good news is you don't have to believe him. The guy in the video's words speak for themselves.

And seriously... there is no WAY anyone with even an ounce of integrity could say that they DIDN'T know that CNN was totally in the tank of the DNC. C'mon...

Is it your opinion or even your guess that the PV video being discussed in this thread is fake?
If I catch you lying to me once, I become skeptical. If I catch you lying to me repeatedly, then I believe nothing you say.

Well, it's up to you what you choose to "believe" and what you choose to close your eyes and ears to. As long as you understand that when you make the choice to close your eyes and ears, that certainly doesn't make reality or facts go away. It might just be a personal game you choose to play with yourself.

Do you believe Project Veritas has more integrity than CNN? If so I feel sorry for you, and hope you seek the help you need so desperately.

Could be, but they likely wouldn't have paid out millions had they 'just played a video'. You really trust CNN a lot, don't you?

CNN settled because it was cheaper than a judge. There is no admission of guilt either. The suits that went trial were thrown out by judge after judge. They are "nuisance suits" and no more than that. We don't know what the settlement was for but we do know that the one term mistake forked over $25 mill to settle his Loser University fraud suit. Loser should be his middle name. :D This settlement looks more like 6 figures to me.

PARK HILLS, Ky. (FOX19/Cincinnati Enquirer) - Defamation and harassment lawsuits filed by a dozen Covington Catholic High School students against a trio of media outlets have been dismissed by a federal judge, according to court documents.
The twelve students claimed the coverage by CNN, NBC, and the Washington Post surrounding a January 2019 March For Life at the Lincoln Memorial resulted in them being harassed and threatened, the lawsuit reads.
Judge William Bertelsman concluded the students were not defamed or harassed by the three media outlets, the documents state.

A classmate of the students, Nicholas Sandmann, filed separate lawsuits against CNN, NBC, and the Washington Post. CNN reportedly agreed to a settlement in that suit in January, though the settlement’s dollar figure was not disclosed.

This isn't a report where someone is talking about their take or opinion of a news story. This is very specific and actual video. What do you mean about integrity of CNN? Have they denied anything about the video? Not that I've heard.

I don't trust Project Veritas to publish unedited video, as I said in my earlier post, when you lie repeatedly, I believe nothing you say.

And they didn't even bring up Trump's birth certificate.

Your Judge Bertelsman changed his mind. https://www.cnn.com/2020/07/24/media/washington-post-sandmann-settlement-lawsuit/index.html

But Newsmax and OANN is fine, right?

Fake news. Totally over blown. A conspiracy story. Two minor employees bull shiting over dinner.

That video doesn't appear to be fake and the interviewee is a Technical Director. Seems to follow the CNN pattern as well. And CNN does have an international reputation for Fake News. If they didn't pay the airports to show their stuff they'd lose a large percentage of their viewership. Only 21`% find CNN to be very credible while same number of people don't find it credible at all.

The admission they are making is exactly why I do not trust anything they are claiming they got from an unnamed source.

You can bet that CNN and other DNC media are already figuring out a way to put the blame on others rather than the person who is actually mouthing the words. That, and ad homs, is their MO.
Veritas has lost lawsuits ...

CNN does not lie and if they make a mistake they admit it and correct it. That is the difference between a news organization and a partisan propaganda machine like FOX.
Do you understand that you are arguing that in a thread about them being caught on video explaining they lie and produce propaganda?
