We Know the Color of the Enemies Skin

i'm not a big fan of nationalism. it's usually a tool used by idiots.

Really? Idiots?
I notice you deftly side-step my questions, so you don't have to support minority nationalist.
Nationalism...my country first...is the natural reaction to the failed Globalist agenda that has been siphoning from the west, to dump wealth on nations who haven't earned it. It has crushed the middle class. I am curious as to why you would try to demonize something that holds your own nation's needs above other nations'?

automation is also a massive threat to many, including me. do you also oppose that?

as for nationalism, i stand by my initial statement.

I agree. Automation is a problem for the unskilled labour markets.

You stand by your statement??? Yet no real reason or argument???
Bully for you.

i am skilled labor. automation is coming for the educated, as well.

Hollywood elitists took to Twitter today, to claim both victimization from the Thousands Oaks shooting, and to cast white people as the 'enemy'.

Hollywood Star, Ellen Barkin

Do you think Barkin's racist tweets will hurt her acting career? What would motivate a woman with blonde hair and white skin to call white people 'the enemy'?

Triggering white supremacists is apparently an easy job these days. Hat's off to Barkin.

True. But again...what's that got to do with global warming?

I feel your concern that robots might take your job. In fact, this has been happening to me, too. I work as a cashier, however in several stores, especially grocery stores, they have been putting up self-checkout machines. That said, if we try to oppose automation, wouldn't that be trying to stifle technological advancement?

Meh.....whatever blows her hair back.

i don't oppose automation, though they are working to automate my job. that's the main risk to my employment, not Hondurans.

Maybe I can set your mind at ease. We install automation. Every company where this occurs has increased employment. Most recently we began automating a fork manufacturing company. The robots weld clips onto the forks. Every manual welder in the place is now basically a robot tech.

Actually, what happens is that the workers have to still do human things which robots cannot yet do. In the one company where we actually tried to do more with robots what humans can do, we are still stuck in the weeds trying to get the robots to work--three years later.

they told me that my job would probably be babysitting the robot. that's probably the case, as the work that i do is exceptionally complex and problematic. my guess is that the automated version of it is going to require a lot more rework than my current rate of probably one percent. i am a confirmed OCD lab rat. the only thing that the robot has on me is that it won't die as soon as i will.

Then what do you propose that we do about automation replacing human workers? A few posts up you characterised this as a threat. So I am just wondering.

Yeah. The idea--at least, it's as far as today's technology will allow--is to let robots do the repetitive work, freeing up the human to do the more complex tasks: fitting, repairing, quality control, etc.

Hmmm, your lack of empathy is not surprising....

I wonder why white men have the highest suicide rate(near highest)
https://www.sprc.org/racial-ethnic-disparities

Looks like the two ethnic groups that get the least amount of sympathy from society also have the highest suicide rates. It is quite a significant difference actually... You would think suicide would correspond with inner termoil, and you would think society would have something to do with that, wouldn't you?

They also have the highest gun owning rate I bet. That would explain the high suicide rate. Owning a gun triples your chances of killing yourself. Darwin strikes again.

I doubt that we can do much about it. I support funding education and job training fully. Displaced workers should have a right to be retrained.

Who determines who the Hollywood elitists are? Is there like a list? Are they rated annually? Who rates them?

For quite a while I've noticed the adjective "elitist" ascribed by truthatallcost to leftists, liberals, socialists, educators, Democrats and the like. I've often wondered how truthatallcost (who is known to frequently struggle with the truth) has been able to determine the elitists among all these groups. He must subscribe to an Elitist list on the internet. But how is the elitist status determined?

I'm not much of a celebrity fan. I don't watch as much television as truthatallcost apparently does. I don't read National Enquirer. Celebrities obviously have a huge impact on truthatallcost.

I do know who Ellen Barkin is, though I can't connect her to a movie or TV program. Hell, I didn't know she was still acting. It surprises me to discover that she is one of the Hollywood elite. How could I ever have formed political opinions without having Barkin's input?

Trump is a Hollywood elitist. Trump even 'had' a star on the Hollywood walk of fame.

Meh.

A Celebutard from Hollweird, who lives and works in the land of make believe, has no clue about reality or real life, as she's most certainly not experiencing anything remotely like it, goes off 1/2 cocked with 1/2 the facts and virtue signals to all her leftist Hollyweird friends that she's just like them, hates Trump.

Pretending that Barkin's tweet and her opinion is anything more than that is giving it far more weight than it warrants.

nah, i'm not curious about that. i only have so much weekend, and i've allotted very little time for white victimhood.

Barkin is the one claiming victimhood from the Thousand Oaks shooting, not me.

It sounds like this is about much more than Trump to her. She labeled white people as 'the enemy'.

But you're right about Hollywood- they're usually pretty damn weird to begin with.

'white people as 'the enemy'' - the latest load of crap of where? From liberal white elitists. I'll have to value that opinion for exactly what it's worth, so next to nothing.

I wish it were as simple as just a handful of zany Hollywood has-beens. That I could easily dismiss, but this ideology has permeated the MSM, academia, and parts of government. And now they're not even trying to hide their objectives from the public. For example-

DrsQjoLVsAIKvDC

"Timothy Jacob Wise is an American anti-racism activist and has trained teachers, corporate employees, non-profit organizations and law enforcement officers in methods for addressing and dismantling racism in their institutions."

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tim_Wise

Or this one, which completely validates the idea of a subversive, un-American force within our midst, trying to eradicate the civilization you and I value so much.

DrrqyvMUcAAOkD-

"Cohen was formerly chair of the American Sociological Association section on Sociology of the Family. He also is an Associate of the Maryland Population Research Center, and was formerly secretary-treasurer of the American Sociological Association's Population Section."

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Philip_N._Cohen

These men are influencing public employees such as teachers and police officers, and contributing to government studies and policy. They are the saboteurs Calvin Coolidge warned the USA about 100 years ago, and most conservatives are too uncomfortable about the subject to admit it.
