Wake County NC school bus drivers go on strike

Do you people realize that school bus drivers have to do several jobs all at one time
not only drive the bus but take care of the kids ( they baby sit , ) and they have full responsibility for every kid on that bus. a respectability a lot of people on here would never want.
if anything happens to somebodies kid while they are on that bus ( some other kid hits them when the driver isn't watching and hurts them ) it is the bus driver that is responsible and at the same time DRIVE THE BUS , and with the way some of these little brats behave it is a very difficult job
baby sit drive the bus keep kids from pulling some other kids hair. hitting them punching or beating up another kid and more and like I said if any thing happens on that bus no matter what the bus driver is responsible
I am sure IF these people on here did that job they would be saying these drivers aren't being paid enough

PS YES some school districts do hire " aids " to take care of some of this stuff but a lot don't and the Bus driver is in charge and is still fully responsible for any thing that happens on their bus

I don't know. I know my local county has a contract with a privately owned bus companies (more than one). They do not own the buses, nor do they pay the drivers directly. However, the situation with a driver shortage is happening in my country also, and they are also restructuring schedules for getting all the kids delivered.

Really? How can a bus driver on a low salary afford food and gas anymore during this Biden created inflation which is due to him bailing out the failed blue states with billions and paying people not to work? Please explain for the listening audience.

No, I haven't. By now you know that claims by you are dismissed as just that. You never come up with an ounce of proof.....only claims. You do that to bluff and bully and it may work on others, but not me. I require proof, not claims. You know this.

see above. The minor inflation for the first 2 quarters were a direct result of the 2020 pandemic, having exactly nothing to do with Biden. Nobody, at all, is being paid to not work. Those are 2 demonstrably false statements that you have made and been corrected on.

Biden has spent 1.9 trillion since March of this year on who knows what. It is preposterous to suggest this did not cause inflation.

Unemployment was paid all during this year and even last and only ended on 9-6-21.

Inflation is due to Biden.

This is why the Dems went down in flames yesterday. people know this. Well, some people, at least.

I think here you may be confusing someone disagreeing with your means with someone having the opposite of your motives. It's no more compelling than if I were to accuse you of not caring about children or an parents so long as public sector unions keep getting money.

Have you ever driven a school bus?
I haven't but have friends and a brother in law that did.
Driving a large Bus/Truck can be very stressful
in cities/ towns even on an interstate
These school bus drivers have to deal with the stress of the road / streets and some real moronic drivers.
I have driven 18 wheeler and straight 10 wheel cargo trucks and I can tell you if I had a penny for every time I saw a moron in a car or mini van run right up on a stop sign before hitting their breaks to stop and almost go through the stop sign or stupid enough to pull right out in front of an 18 wheeler that has 40.000 lbs on it and think that truck can stop on a dime I would be a multi millionaire
school bus drivers have all that type of stress but then have to baby sit a bunch of kids that can be a bunch of little brats yelling. screaming fighting and if any thing happens to one of these little angels the bus driver is responsible
and then add more runs and want them to work more and more hours they not only deserve the pay they already get but a lot more

Pay them $100.00 an hour. With Biden's inflation, they may be able to buy the last banana.

I entirely believe you both that there are a lot of dumb drivers out there, and that kids can be stupid. I will probably not have a great night, but, I hope that you do :) peace.

and I have to ask if we had inflation when Trump was in office would you be blaming him and saying it was Trumps inflation or saying things like the President has nothing to do with inflation

Trump would not have spent 1.9 trillion in March to allow people to not work and stay home and to bail out the blue states' ineptness.
