If you can make a good argument/defense for your point of view that doesn't include demonizing or insulting somebody or something or using derogatory analogies, you might have a point. Otherwise no.

You just broad brushed half the country. And if you don't see the ridicule, personal insults or false analogies coming from "the right" then open your damn eyes, turn on talk radio for five minutes, turn on Hannity or Laura Ingraham, listen to your President. I didn't get upset - I showed you the data to prove your point was nonsense. Instead of defending your point, you abandoned the point you called 'logical' just a few posts ago.

I'll end the night with this. I'm not impressed with arguments that broad brush roughly half the country on "the left." That's about 65 million voters last Presidential election and there are a vast range of individuals in that group. If you really believe that "the left" cannot logically discuss issues, "they" (those unnamed 65 million or so) just get upset, provide an example. I don't think you can do it. What you might point out are issues where you disagree, but I've found "the left" quite able to defend their positions on DP myself over the years, using what you're calling "logic" but what I'd characterize as appeals to evidence and rational theories.

You can go to sleep, and i will talk to you in the morning lol. I just want to discuss. I agree that half of the country can't be as i have painted them to be, but, that is the whole point of the conversation which is to try and understand.

No, questions are fine. I'm just trying to figure out how much you actually know about science. You appear to be unaware that there are different fields of science, and that a climatologist wouldn't be writing papers on human physiology.

Are you aware of that? If so, why would you ask what a climatologist thinks in regard to gender identification, and how could we possibly find out what their opinions are?

Biological sex is biology.

Gender is sociology (and anthropology).

Some time ago we thought it would be a good idea if biology borrowed a sociology term for the purpose of euphemism on forms.

Gender is the roles and expectations assigned any specific group in society. Sex, orientation, age and other categories are assigned expectations and roles.

No one disagrees that humans impact the environment, the right wants to know what percentage and what cost are people willing to pay to change that percentage, if its even worth changing, this is not rocket science. All this peer reviewed crap is worthless because we already know that we impact the environment, the majority of people don't care because the earth and the universe is too massive to think we can change whatever course it is on. People like you who think we can are the crazy ones.

I swear i am not on the right, but i have moved towards the right recently because of the environment we live in.

I think you are misunderstanding me. I voted for Obama, does that make me on the left? If not please disregard. I've been to 15 countries and there are beautiful great people all over the world. Immigrants are great they bring food, culture, and a new perspective on life. You have me wrong. My issue is with limits, the left seems to have no limits, and the right does.
