[W:720, 995]Trump: Americans Who Died in War Are ‘Losers’ and ‘Suckers’

yeah, i can't currently forgive the Republicans for this despicable scumbag. hopefully i'll eventually grow to the point where i can.

They are going to have to do a hell of a lot before i’d trust republicans again.

The president has repeatedly disparaged the intelligence of service members, and asked that wounded veterans be kept out of military parades, multiple sources tell The Atlantic.

Figures. He threatened to disown his son when Donald Jr. mentioned that he was thinking of joining the military.

Our Command in Chief. God help us.

I'll take it with a grain of salt. Trump says a lot of stupid an offensive stuff, but reporters often lie about what he says even when there's video.

He only went to business school. None of his education included military classes.

There is a reason Americans supported an Army General to be their first President.

He wants people to think he has an MBA from Wharton. He does not.

Fake news, and evidence of how far the Atlantic has fallen.

First off there’s no specificity. There’s no dates, no descriptions of where the alleged conversations happened, who was present, no seeming confirmation of remarks, etc

Like they don’t even give the date of the 2018 Marnes visit

Plus the stuff Trump is alleged to have said is cartoonishly bad. Like this is second tier fan fiction. This is a satire writer splicing Trumpesque words together.

Weather report for Paris on the 10 Nov 2018 shows heavy rain so no reason to doubt the official story.

I am in the process of pulling the Terminal Area forecast for Charles De Gualle to see if flying weather was bad, but I see no reason to doubt the official story. I suppose the left expects us to believe that Trump put a visit to the graves of the losers and suckers, only to be favored by God with terrible weather. Of course it’s liberal hack journalism and liberal hacks actually believe middle Americans who like Trump really are suckers and too stupid to google weather

Also from this Atlantic Monthly article:

On Memorial Day 2017, Trump visited Arlington National Cemetery, a short drive from the White House. He was accompanied on this visit by John Kelly, who was then the secretary of homeland security, and who would, a short time later, be named the White House chief of staff. The two men were set to visit Section 60, the 14-acre area of the cemetery that is the burial ground for those killed in America’s most recent wars. Kelly’s son Robert is buried in Section 60. A first lieutenant in the Marine Corps, Robert Kelly was killed in 2010 in Afghanistan. He was 29. Trump was meant, on this visit, to join John Kelly in paying respects at his son’s grave, and to comfort the families of other fallen service members. But according to sources with knowledge of this visit, Trump, while standing by Robert Kelly’s grave, turned directly to his father and said, “I don’t get it. What was in it for them?” Kelly (who declined to comment for this story) initially believed, people close to him said, that Trump was making a ham-handed reference to the selflessness of America’s all-volunteer force. But later he came to realize that Trump simply does not understand non-transactional life choices.

“He can’t fathom the idea of doing something for someone other than himself,” one of Kelly’s friends, a retired four-star general, told me. “He just thinks that anyone who does anything when there’s no direct personal gain to be had is a sucker. There’s no money in serving the nation.” Kelly’s friend went on to say, “Trump can’t imagine anyone else’s pain. That’s why he would say this to the father of a fallen marine on Memorial Day in the cemetery where he’s buried.”

this to me is like a knife being turned inside of me...my son served, he is now a 100% disabled vet of Afghanistan and I am fortunate he is alive...my biological father was a veteran of Vietnam, my grandfather(who adopted me) and whom I considere my daddy was a veteran of Korea(US Navy), my great grandfather also served but in WWII and my great great grandfather was killed in WWI...and he was 100% Native American Indian as were my great grand and my grandfather...

I would spit in his face if he called my son a sucker.

Before our resident truth-deniers show up and refuse to believe this article, it would help them to actually read it. Or at least just the subtitle:

I would also strongly encourage those of you who have served our country and prefer Trump over Biden to pause and read this article. Read what this president has to say about you.

I certainly believe it...but I am not a Trump supporter...the way he disparaged POW's and McCain was very public.

The story is unsourced. It's fake news 60 days before an election.

This is what Democrats and MSM do. ...and look at the goobs gobbling it up.

The desperation is palpable.

Can you at least hang some plastic or something? People are getting hit in the CT forum.

Dude is really afraid of spunk.

What do Trump’s words unspliced minus satire look like?

Wow. A story from 2018. Try not to be so desperate.

From the same guy who suggests that telling a woman to take one for the team isn't sexual harassment no less. Talk about desperate.

Which Repubs asked for or indicated a desire for your forgiveness?

literally fake news.

Yes, it is news about our fake president.

Both The Atlantic Magazine and web publication produce quality journalism that utilizes moderately loaded wording that typically favors the left: This Is the Moment of Truth for Republicans. All news stories on The Atlantic are properly sourced to factual information and usually present a reasonable balance on issues. Editorially, The Atlantic takes a Left-Center position on most issues and has long endorsed Democratic candidates.

The article is completely consistent with all that we have observed (see also Trump's public comments about McCann and the Khans) and all that has been written about him. You can pretty much take this story to the bank.

The bigger question is why you would think Trump is worthy of the office of POTUS? He clearly does not uphold American values or care about anything but Donald Trump. He is a despicable human being. What does this say about your judgement? I know what it says to me: your judgement is pathetic.

So, thank you for your non-meaningful rather childish response to this, but I think most of us believe the only thing fake here is Donald Trump and your reality.

~ Yeah - this was all hashed about when it happened . Democrats are desperate. Timing on this is too suspicious.

So Trump didn't call John McCain a loser for getting caught? This is perfectly in character. You're embarrassing yourself. Carry on.

Great, so that means anyone from Alex Jones. To anyone from that little QAnon run can come out with anything and so long as they're named in that expression. They're completely legitimate.

Thanks for clearing that up.

Come on....You know all of this is true. It is so Trumpian that it is not possible to make up. Whats the big deal anyway? You aren't bothered that he spends more time taking to Putin than Congress but this is over the line?......

His inference was clear to anyone who doesn't have trump's dick in their mouth.

I’m sorry you suffered sexual trauma as a child that causes you to speak in such an undignified manner

Bro, they literally ran a fake story about a 12-year-old black boy being shot by a cop in St. Louis like a month or two ago. I think I even made a thread about it.

I'm not bothered by something that doesn't exist, nor something that hasn't been proven to actually be happening. This is why nothing that the left chooses to cry about really gains any purchase, save with their own.

If you want to lose yourself in self prophesized conspiracy theories, then do so with my blessing.

Says the guy who ran from that thread when asked to back up his bull****. Talk about cowardice.
